The issue I have is that I don't really know the area beyond how to get to work and back so it didn't take me long before I had to back track and just go back the way I came. I realised the iPhone is gooseberry fool for a sat nav too as it's so quiet so i'm going to have to have earphones in while driving for that to work. I'm still gooseberry fool at parking too, practiced a couple of parallel park's and it was ok in the end, but it was nothing like my instructor taught me to do as I essentially just winged it and did lots of straightening up afterwards.

You'll be popular in the work car park then. We share a building with the council (they're on the floor below) so we can see them park up throughout the day and strawberry float me if women aren't the worst parkers in the world. I can't understand how something as simple as guiding a u ok Hun mobile fiat 500 piece of gooseberry fool between two white lines can be so taxing. Every one of them, at a strawberry floated up angle with at least one wheel in the space next to them.

I have agreed to go to one, and only one, wedding fayre with the Mrs. We went yesterday, and it was as hideous as we both expected it would be.

The hordes of women parking outside, though. :dread: :dread: :dread: Jebus H tapdancing Christmas. :dread: :dread: :dread:

It was pissing down, and in a stately home, so all the parking was on grass, on a slope. There was a guy guiding people into their spaces, but he was insisting they reversed in because there wasn't much room to get out afterwards. It's hard to describe, but did make sense.

I had to wait ten minutes for two cars in front of me to park correctly. Of course, I was at an advantage cos I had a bit of ground clearance, and I wasn't in a Ka/Puma/Tigra/SLK/500, etc, but strawberry float me, they were clueless. :fp:

I chucked mine into its space in seconds flat and got the strawberry float outta there, like a boss. You could tell they all wanted me.

Looking at ODBII readers online, anyone have a suggestion for a good one?

This one is pretty highly rated and only $35

http://www.amazon.ca/RioRand-RS300-Diag ... roduct_top

But there is an auto parts store near me that has this more advanced one...

http://www.amazon.com/Launch-Tech-30105 ... ader+VI%2B

I'm not sure if being more advanced is worth the extra cost, any ideas?

:fp: Spent about a minute trying to get in to a spot just now. A guy comes out from his house to make sure i'm not gonna hit his car. :fp: Spend another four minutes struggling under the pressure before I come out of the position and reverse in instead of driving head in, get it perfect first time.

I need to practice this gooseberry fool so bad.

It looked like there was definitely enough space to do so and straighten up before I reached the next car. I was wrong.

Wanna see my pink pomphlet? Alles klar!

This. It's not about parallel parking forwards. I tend not to think about the space, and just aim to line my car up with the front of the car behind. Works first time, every time.

Or just learn to park.

He's in a 90's Escort, so should have good visibility unlike a lot of the newer stuff.

Hah, yeah.
It reminds me of the kids on their Yamaha R125s painted like Rossi's M1 GP Bike.
Or CBR125s with Repsol Honda paintwork
