I've made it to the final 4! I'm in 2nd place and guaranteed at least $5958 for 4th  :D 8-)

When it got down to 6 players I suddenly had the idea to use camtasia and record my session, I would have done it much earlier if I had thought about it. There's been lots of interesting hands since I started recording so it should make for good viewing.

And I finished in 2nd place :D

Image

I forgot to unpause camtasia when we came back from a break so unfortunately I only recorded from 6 players down to 4 or 3 :fp: Still I will upload that tomorrow.

Heads-up I had just over 1 million chips and my opponent had about 4 million so I was the under dog and I didn't expect to win it. Still I put up a fair fight but the other guy was extremelly agressive raising almost every hand and so I had to make a few moves if I was going to stand any chance. I shoved his raise with 97 expecting him to fold as he had done a couple of times before but that time he actually had QQ. The flop gave me a gutshot but his queens held.

Thanks to everyone for railing, especially slayer who was there til the end.

I think maybe the topic title should be changed to "satriales accidentally wins $11,500k"

Screen name is rexmcpwn. You can ship $100 at any time. ;)

I guess the important question is how much do you spend on a car and how much do you use for roll. You could play $100 freezeouts as a standard now see but will you be +EV?

Well done!

I didn't win so you can't have $100 I'm afraid :(

I'll organise a $100 GR freeroll sometime instead :D

I don't think I'll be buying a car just yet, I still want to wait until I get a job which hopefully will be very soon. I'll be withdrawing all of my winnings though partly because I'm skint and so it's reassuring to know there is plenty in the bank to pay the rent, but also I just don't like having too much in a poker account as you often hear horror stories of people being banned for almost no reason and then losing everything in their acocunt. I'll keep $1k as a roll which is about what I had before.

I'm not sure about moving up stakes. I really enjoyed the $50 game, but it feels like a huge jump to go from playing $10 games to $50, maybe I will try the $20 first and see how I get on with those.

What I was thinking was to have the freeroll a week on Sunday (or maybe the Sunday after) and then invite everyone who takes part in the GRSOP. So if you play in the $3 Omaha tournament tonight or the $10 main event on Sunday then you can play in the freeroll.
Does that sound like a fair way to do it?
