Yeah so Rex and I just took down a little freeroll tournament for €150!

Aaron (Rocketman) couldn't play so he asked Rex to play in his place. He played through the first hour and got down to two tables with around fifteen big blinds and then his internet died. So he phoned me with the login details. :lol:

Anyway with eleven or twelve big blinds (nobody really had any more than twenty I'd say) I logged in. I then started the biggest heater of my life. It started when I sucked out with tens against kings. It seemed like each time I limped a small blind I wound up flopping top two pair and we got up to around 6k before a sick pot. I limped in a three way pot from the small blind with J9o. The flop comes J94 rainbow. I check-raised a guy who then re-raised, I obviously called and he shows 99. No jacks for me sees me back at about 2k and ten big blinds. Things stayed like that until we got down to ten and the final table. With a stack of 1800 and blinds of 300/600 I elected to get in with K8, and were called by a guy with A9, the board came 988KA so we doubled up to around 4k as there was a limper or two before my push.

The very next hand I get jacks. Still with only eight big blinds I again push - the SAME guy calls and this time he only has Q4dd and I now find myself in second place. I started to bully a little and worked my way up to chip leader. I can't remember some of the hands, but one which sticks out was when I min raised with Q9 on the button, the small blind pushed all in for an extra 500 and shows AQ. The 9 hits the flop and he is gone. I know there was another knockout, something like A5 vs A9 and I flopped a 5. By the break I was absolutely destroying this tourament. Blinds were 400/800. I was sitting on near enough 20k, the biggest of the other three was 8.5k.

Anyway, I handed back over to Rex at that point and he did the rest at four handed. The final hand was his KK vs the other guy's QQ, and this guy had worked his way back up to almost an even stack. His kings held and we took it down.

There was also the small matter of making another 45-man final table. I managed to avoid bubbling and went out in 7th. AKhh in the small blind with about eight big blinds left, the big stack calls the BB as does the button, I go all in for my remaining 3.4k, big stack calls and shows ATo. Again I ran badly at a crucial time as he hit four diamonds to knock me out. :fp:

In a heads up battle in my first sit&go for first place!

It's only for like, $6, but the buy in was only $.25, so I'm pretty excited and pleased to be here, although it took longer then I thought!

I'm in pretty good shape, I've got $96,000, he's got $83,000 but I suppose it's not that big a difference.

The break is almost over, so back to the table. Wish me luck GR!

Went all-in a couple of times becuase it's 4.20am and I wanted to finish the thing.

I did.

I came second. :lol:

Oh well, the winnings have taken me to $10.40, which is a $.40 profit from when I started. Good times!

Just entered a 45-man and a 90-man. Given that I am getting deep pretty much every time I play now I'm really happy with my game.

Edit: Jinxed. Out in 40th of the 45 man. Lunatic guy re-raises me all in when I have JJ pre, he shows KJ, board comes AQ3T9. :fp:

Down to the last third now in the 90-man if anyone wants to rail. After some bad luck I wasn't left with much more than ten big blinds and then these two bad boys turned up. The first was a flip, the second a lovely read on the big stack.

Edit: Sigh, I just knew when I saw the flop I wasn't going to win this one.

In a 180 man if anyone wants to watch!

Just finished 7th. One of those final tables where about half are insanely short and the others have all the chips. Anyway I pushed A3 with my three big blinds and was called by 55. He hits a set, game over. $19.

The Nuts Poker Leauge have given me a token because i've never deposited there for a SNG so im playing that now.

12 man and only 4 cash and im chip leader :mrgreen:

It was more profitable for me to wait it out, to be honest, which isn't something I normally like doing. After the bubble burst two hands later it was the FT. Sadly during that time it was my big and small blinds. At one point I had ten but I then got unbelievably card dead. You should've been there!

Im running good today chip leader in the 2nd tourney now and my read and play has been spot on 8-)

The Nut Poker League I signed up once and never played there so they sent me a token to play in a low stakes SNG for free.

2nd game I busted out 3rd I flopped tp low kicker but was 3rd in chips and checked to get the chip leader to bet he put me all in and I called he had a flush draw which he rivered.

Time for the next one.

Might be worth people opening an account here and waiting for the tokens I know the tourney is only a 12 man $2.40 but im on my 3rd one in less than an hour and im also back at the final table.

Pretty sure you need to register a card as you will need it to withdraw your winnings :mrgreen:

Thats a 1st 2nd and 3rd now its harder than it looks to win 4 in a row.
