The whole thing was a disaster. I played poorly, none of my play seemed to work, but my all-ins were pretty much on the money bar one, only for me to get rivered or turned in unlikely fashion. Bah.

That 8,2 was horrible. I lost confidence in myself and gave up the hand.

Sorry about not being around. I went out at 1pm for drinks with a friend and just didn't foresee myself getting back this late.

In the raketherake freeroll I came 24/71, so I didn't win anything. I'm going to try and qualify for next months (just need to earn 500FPP) as 12th place gets $120 and 1st place gets ~£1300. Pretty good for such a small field of players.

In the 200k I came 849th out of 30,000 and won $30, which isn't too bad considering it only cost me $2 to enter. The blinds suddenly caught up with me and I ended up losing with 99 vs A4.

My bankroll has just reached the $200 mark :D

Its a big blind hand for a start. Its very feasable I have hit that board, so bet out. He calls, but Rex often does. On the turn I bet out bigger - but unfortunately Rex calls again. I could have represented the flush at the end, but it would have been pretty unbelievable, and I'd lost confidence so I bailed. I was kinda hoping Rex would bet so we didnt all have to see my absolute shithouse hand, but its a big blinder, what can ya do...

In simple, wrong time to bluff.

I think what DML means is it could be seen his bet was nothing more than a stab at the flop and so you called it just like if he had raised and the bet the flop how often have they actually hit and hwo often is it just a c-bet?

It doesn't matter if I think it's just a "stab" or cbet. I will give him credit if I don't have a hand. He said that I often call. My point is I really really don't. I won't float there even with overcards most of the time. No flush draws and the straight means even hitting my overs I could be beat or even outkicked because he certainly COULD bet overs @ flop. My point is I am not calling without a hand so betting the turn is v bad. Flop bet is fine, well, I would fold lots of the time but I wouldn't make said flop bet against myself. If I don't have a hand you know I have check fold selected already :)
