I'll take action if I reach the main event itself.

There's always satellites for the Sunday majors and if you qualify you can unregister and your account will be given the buyin amount in Tourney dollars. You can use these to play tournaments and sit and go's any time.

PokerStars Game #70057474082: Tournament #464719828, $1.29+$0.21 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level I (10/20) - 2011/11/05 10:44:19 WET [2011/11/05 6:44:19 ET]
Table '464719828 1' 9-max Seat #7 is the button
Seat 1: tomson34 (260 in chips)
Seat 2: tigriske12 (1470 in chips)
Seat 3: rodrigowce (1600 in chips)
Seat 4: 19gow63 (2670 in chips)
Seat 5: gavrosh379 (2310 in chips)
Seat 6: boggie112 (880 in chips)
Seat 7: voron764 (1290 in chips)
Seat 8: whiskey920 (1480 in chips)
Seat 9: TIP_Omsk (1540 in chips)
whiskey920: posts small blind 10
TIP_Omsk: posts big blind 20
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to whiskey920 [Qh Qd]

Sweet QQ in the SB. Let's hope I get some action from it.

tomson34: raises 80 to 100
tigriske12: folds
rodrigowce: folds
19gow63: folds
gavrosh379: calls 100
boggie112: calls 100
voron764: calls 100

Good spot for QQ here. Apart from UTG I've probably got the best hand so I'll push here to hopefully get any raggy aces out of the pot and isolate the initial raiser.

whiskey920: raises 1380 to 1480 and is all-in
TIP_Omsk: folds
tomson34: calls 160 and is all-in
gavrosh379: folds
boggie112: calls 780 and is all-in
voron764: folds
Uncalled bet (600) returned to whiskey920

Two callers is a bit of a surprise. I wonder what the second caller has. Definitely nothing that has me beat.

*** FLOP *** [2d Ad 4h]

Ah well. The ace has come down but at least I should pick up the tidy side pot....

*** TURN *** [2d Ad 4h] [7s]
*** RIVER *** [2d Ad 4h 7s] [5d]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
whiskey920: shows [Qh Qd] (a pair of Queens)
boggie112: shows [5s 5c] (three of a kind, Fives)
boggie112 collected 1240 from side pot
tomson34: shows [Jh Ac] (a pair of Aces)
boggie112 collected 1000 from main pot
tomson34 finished the tournament in 9th place

I know a few of us here have Will Hill accounts.

William Hill Online Poker Championship

For the first time ever, William Hill Poker will be crowning a champion of online poker as the inaugural William Hill Online Poker Championship is set to take place Saturday, Nov. 5.

What: The 2011 William Hill Online Poker Championship
When: Nov. 5 at 15:00 GMT
Entry: $35+$3.50
Guaranteed: $50,000

For the past few weeks players have been frantically satelliting their way into the 2011 WHOP, all with the same goal — becoming the first William Hill Champion.
William Hill has been offering several daily satellites, as well as ongoing sit-n-go tournaments to win seats into the WHOP. It may not be too late to win your way into the event for a pittance of the buy-in.

$50K WHOP Satellites
-Daily $3.50+0.35 freeze out qualifier (One in 11 wins WHOP Championship seat)
-Daily $1+0.10 rebuy/add-on tournament (One WHOP entry for every $38.50 in prize pool)
-Ongoing 8,000 William Hill point sit-n-go qualifiers (Five players, one seat awarded)

Check the William Hill client now to see which last minute satellites are still on offer, otherwise players can buy-in directly or use 40,000 William Hill Points for a token entry to the event.

That's a shame. I'm just about to pop out so I guess I can't play in that. May play a little tonight, but struggling to have the enthusiasm for some reason...

Let us know how you fare!

Rinsed the cash tables down Grosevenor last night for about £390.

Really crazy hand:

I was texting on my phone and I was in the BB the card lands on my phone as a lift it up. Dealer announces Q of spades exposed to the table and I keep my card. 4 way limped pot. Q4Q flop. I check as apparently because my card was exposed I am not allowed to be the aggressor. But I am aware there is a guy pretty drunk with headphones in oblivious to the action of the table with about £70 in his stack (he has already spewn about £300 to the table).

I check he bets pot sized I call. Blank turn. I check he bets pot again, I call. Blank river. He jams what is like £50 in all in and I call for the reason that I know he was unaware I had trips whilst the rest of the table new. Dealer announced I had trip Qs before I turned my hand over the guy had taken his headphoens off and asked the dealer how he knew that and the dealer said 'I announced Qs exposed. He started getting really angry about the situation and believing that he should have had been made aware even though he had his headphones on.

Floor manager comes over, the table agrees with the dealer when he said I announced Qs shown. I was never the aggressor and the guy had just missed the fact that my queen was shown. Floor manager dictated that I win the pot and lack of table awareness is not a viable reason to split the pot up.

I played a few micro MTTs earlier, mainly the $2.50 turbo 180s. Ran terrible in almost all of them but finally made a 2nd place in a $2.50 180 man for ~$80.

Just reached the cash in an $8 MTT too, but was planning on going out tonight so not sure if i'll continue with it much longer. :?

Nice! Would have been well unfair if you'd lost the decision on that pot. If someone chooses to wear headphones then they can only blame themselves if they miss something.

I won a jackpot hand last night!

Quad 3s scooped me £40! Would have been double that, but someone hit a Royal Flush the night before. :x

Busted out in seventh 9-9<A-K. At least the buy-in was covered and more with that hand though.
