Friday would be best for me too. The reg fee is a lot but £5 goes to charity and you do get free drinks for 3 days, so its not so bad.

How would we go about registering early?

I obviously have the luxury of just walking down there. You could win a seat if there is a G casino near you.

Else unsure, we'd have to look into it.

Yeah it's £5 to charity and £15 reg fee. It should be super soft for the buyin, all the Isle donk regs will surely be in it, they will have nothing else to do for 3 days. :P

In other news due to my run gd I am confident of cashing in the lottery tonight.

It's probably not wrong to ship it but I think I just fold, unless you know the guy is stealing from CO a lot. I'm not a big fan of KQo though.

I think it's also probably a reship unless you know the guy will call you incorrectly light i.e with like pocket 5s. Alot of people don't like to reshove 20BB myself included but those people are wrong.

So you think it's +$EV to do so?

I ran some ranges through stove just now and its +cEV but I think its close for $.

Also looked at your post for about 20 seconds before realising it wasn't mind. Was strawberry floating confused.

Yes I think it's CeV to do it. If it was a final table it may not be ICM wise. What I meant was I probably wouldn't do it because I'm a nit/bad.

Also I'd want to know his 3x range wasn't monsters.

I would say as much as it might be a +EV spot (the majority of the time) - the likelyhood that you will get a much better spot later are surely +EV. You definitely don't want him to call, and with too many calling stations out there willing to call with A-J, A-10 etc I would err on the side of caution. You don't neccesarily have to take down every hand when you are ahead, make every single best possible decision - just take the ones that lead you to being propelled to win. I am not a fan of K-Q, and especially K-Qo - thats a hand I'd want to be shipping, not be re-shipping over some-one else.

But the thing about reshoving KQo is that it does well against his calling range, it's only dominated by super premiums and does reasonably well against hands like AJ and A10 or medium pp.

What ever is calling you has you beat. It might be plus EV if there was a limper before that kind of open up, but it seems like he is willing to commit.

The point is though he's not going to call most of the time, and the times he does call we're in reasonable shape.

My first 4.40 win! (now they're 4.50) Been a long time coming with 2 second places and 2 third places.

Basically rex staked me 100 buyins for a 50/50 split as I have no bank roll as I am skint and am off of work at the moment.

The final table went really well. Getting QQ and KK in great spots early on to put me on an 80k stack. Some interesting hands:

He was a really bad player and was limping/claiming to have awesome hands when had limped a pot. This hand was confusing because I thought the worst and that he had spades. Turns out with the scope on him and VPIP/PFR my call is good a hell of a lot of the time.

I think I played this hand poorly. Every draw is out there and he rarely has K8 there. I needed to bet the turn for value. Somehow I missed the danger and lost the minimum through bad play.

The final headsup hand. I was raising 100% of the button betting half pots all the time on the flop. He was reshipping a good 30-40% of the time (still making my min raise on the button valuable?) but with 21 big blinds I could have found a better spot but he was shoving often. He showed some distress in the chat box saying "gooseberry fool style" so I knew I had him spewing pretty hard. I had folded 55 before for about the same size reraise all in and folded but this time it was good.

Would the fact that he is the most aggressive player at the table (25/16) suggest that maybe he is raising a bit lighter because everyone else has tightened up?

This is pretty wrong. He will be raise folding lots of gooseberry fool in late position and its the fold equity that makes it a profitable play.

DML that's deffo not correct. Luw and I ran some ranges out and we came up with him folding out almost 80% of his raising range.

EDIT: Good work Luw, I like making $100 without doing anything. More later. Maybe mumble next time.

I bet you in reality he would not be folding nearly 80%. Either way, its a marginal one either way, I would err on the side of caution.
