GRcade Pirates investigate Spindash's 'dart prank'

GRcade Pirates will today demand an explanation from promising left-back Spindash as to why he threw at least one dart in the direction of youth-team players at the club's Booty Cove training academy.

The Pirates are yet to establish a full understanding of why Spindash threw the dart and will give him the chance to offer an explanation before deciding what action to take. Head honcho Coach Cutty will also need to be brought up to speed with the incident, as he has been away from the club scouting backroom staff talent in Morocco. He will seek an explanation from the defender before discussing the incident with senior executives at the club.

Mercifully, nobody was hurt during the incident, which may have spared Spindash from substantial disciplinary action which would leave his Pirates future looking in even more serious doubt. The club appear to view the incident as a foolish prank. But it is the last thing that Coach Cutty needs as he attempts to guide his side to a successful stay in the Barclays Premier League.

Spindash wins £25,000... then gives £1,000 to a tramp

GENEROUS soccer star Spindash gave £1,000 to a tramp outside a casino - after a whopping £25,000 win.

The GRcade left-back, 20, shared his windfall on a night out with striker Preezy, who lost his life savings.

Spindash - who earns £100,000 a week after signing from World XI for £24million last year - is said to often give cash to homeless people he sees around Newport. His latest act of kindness came outside the city's 235 Casino last week.

A source said: "Spindash is really generous. He always hands £20 notes to the Big Issue boys without even taking the magazine. There's a guy he always sees around town with ginger dreadlocks and a beard. He carries his possessions in two carrier bags.

"He was outside the club in the early hours so Spindash handed him a wad of notes after his big win. The tramp couldn't believe his luck. It was enough to keep him going for months."

Way to make friends with the new manager, BOhero. :lol:

IT became too much to bear for one disillusioned fan. But as GRcade's sorry season descended into further chaos at Booty Cove, nobody could have envisaged the repercussions of one fan's act of defiance.

After one GRcade fan confronted Wiggles on the field of play after eight minutes of play, the Ireland international begged to be taken off and then sensationally announced that he was quitting football - but he got no sympathy from manager Cuttooth.

"This is the fourth or fifth time this has happened and that's it," said Wiggles. "I'm finished with football.

"This man has done the same thing before. He came and offered me his shirt for my GRcade one and told me to **** off.

"So today I have decided I am quitting football. I can't live my life like this. I can live without football and that is what I am going to do."

Cuttooth showed amazingly little sympathy for Wiggles and was lost for words to explain the events surrounding his retirement.

Cuttooth said: "Initially I thought he was injured, but he wasn't at all. It was the strangest circumstances. What it does say about him is that he lacks any strength of character.

"There are ways of showing your displeasure when something like that happens but to ask to be taken off is beyond me. It's not the sort of action to inspire your team-mates".
