I'm in the beta, and all i'm going to say is, it's the best C&C since Red Alert 2, easily.

It's bloody amazing.

I've been in the beta for a while too, but I've been neglecting that a bit. It is great fun to play though, and full of innovative twists to make it stand out from the rather traditional C&C3.

Looks lovely. An emphasis on Naval units is always a great thing. This, Far Cry 2, and Op Flashpoint 2 are my must-gets.

Yeah, One of the best things it allows you to do, is set up any buildings in the water, really adds something to the game. It's so funny seeing a lone engineer riding across the open sea to cap something only to be run over by a massive destroyer.

Well, that's made me happy. You only get to play one level in the beta, and they've been skimping on enviroments since Generals. I mean Generals was full of desert, Tiberium Wars was full of even more desert. Finally a lovely bit of snow to battle on.

Whens this out?

Haven't got into C&C since Red Alert 2. Generals just felt too samey for me to spend much time with, but I may give this a go.

Only problem is my laptop is ancient so hopefully the controls are tight on the 360.

Can't wait for this, some good games out this year imo. This, Gears2 and Fallout3 should satisfy all my needs. Even sexual.

If I bought this on 360 could I just plug in a USB mouse/keyboard that I use for my PC, and away I go? x

Nope. Despite the 360 using USB2.0, and keyboards working for the dashboard, Microsoft don't allow keyboard and mouse input for gameplay on the 360. It's supposed to level the playing field on Live, and it's why 360 RTS games will never be as good as PC ones.

Just pre-ordered the special edition today from Game in town.

I'm also in the beta, though i'm not very good at it.

If anyone wants a screenshot or details of a specific unit i'll do my best to get one or explain it.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Ouch, playing C&C with a controller would surely be awful? I can understand that thinking for Live, but can't they make it OK to use it offline.. x

This will be awesome. I'll be getting it on 360 though as my PC is a bag of gooseberry fool. And I'm used to playing with a controller now after completing C&C3 and Kane's Wrath. :D

Well, at least she isn't attempting an American accent.

Quite impressed with the cast there; JK Simmons, Tim Curry, Peter Stormare, Jonathan Pryce, George Takei and Jenny McCarthy. Gutted they didn't get Kari Wuhrer back as Tanya though.
