Graph time :o

Once again I didn't play much this month, but the last 10 days or so I played SNGs quite regularly. Here is my graph for the whole of March with total profit of $260:
Image

And here is the same graph but by day rather than tournament, which shows how most of the games were played in the last week or so:
Image

And here is a graph of just the $16 turbos for the month. There was a nice run of 8 cashes in a row which netted me a cool $277 profit. Total profit on these for the month (last 10 days really) is $541.

So pretty good I think considering the small volume. I think in April I will try to play mostly the $16s as they are working well for me at the moment and work on getting a decent amount of volume in. It's hard when just 4-tabling though, if I can continue making a steady profit then I will once agian consider a new PC with two monitors.

According to their website it starts at 9pm so if we're going there then I take it we'll still meet up in Coventry during the day and then make our way to Birmingham in the evening?

Not sure if I'm happy with a 9pm start time.

The Isle tournaments we've played start at 6:30 and generally go on until around 3am (if you win).

Can someone calculate some odds for me? I've got AKss all in pre-flop vs 3s with the flop coming QT9 with two spades on it. What are the odds of me winning that pot?

Cheers Sat.

Just had a bit of a mixed session. A few hands of note were: Got it in with JJ vs QQ. Both flop a set and I turn quads. Flop top pair in the BB against a limper, turn two pair with 3 cards to a flush and both get it all in. He flips over a pair and rivers his flush. Somehow only got one 2nd place from 4 games considering I was well stacked on a couple of them so I'm a bit disappointed with it tbh.

EDIT: Trying to get HEM sorted but having some Postgres issues so trying to get it sorted on their forums.

Tomorrow (Friday) night at the G casino is a £20 double chance freezeout starting at 2030. May well end up going.

Yeah I had those sort of errors when I first tried the demo. The support on the forums is very good though so they should get you sorted.

I also just had a bit of a mixed session playing 10 more SNGs. I didn't play particularly well but I was also card dead for most of the tournaments. I still got a few 3rd place cashes but ended up down slightly.

I could actually make that :P but it's probably to short notice for some, so i'll stick with the majority whatever it is we decide upon.

I am here now.

With regards to tomorrow evening, Aaron and I will be playing at the G Casino game. Locals like Sykes and Jamie could make it depending on their plans. Sat, if you wanted to come that would be cool and you could probs stay here (pending confirmation from Aaron/Rex obv) but the issue is that we're heading off to Alton Towers at like 7am on Saturday, and it would suck if you went home Saturday morning only to come back the following afternoon. Maybe you could meet up with Sykes or something or find some way to hang around until we get back in the evening and Slayer arrives?

For Sunday we don't know which tourney to play and will probably decide tomorrow. We're a bit stuck for ideas at the moment.

Ok situation is quite annoying atm. Broadway Sunday creates a few problems, mainly the fact that it starts at 9pm. It's also a triple chance, at a bigger casino that GC and will likely finish stupid stupid hours of Monday. Slayer has to leave really early Sunday and I don't fancy driving to Brum after 200 miles on Saturday. Then there is a problem of Sunday no longer having the good tourney at GC. If it was on we would all be fine.

There is a tourney Friday as has been stated at the G casino Cov. We were talking last night (Drum, Aaron and I) and I have the following suggestion which seems to be "ok" overall" and means everyone should visit a casino.

Friday: £20 8pm tourney at G Casino Cov. Aaron and Drumstick seem to be going to this tonight regardless. If Sykes, Jamie and Gaz want to come over here this afternoon and play that you are welcome. You can all then stay over/make your own way home. This does start late but it's likely to finish well before the Brum tourney would AND we are much closer to home. The only problems here are:

1. I cannot play because I have to drive Saturday morning.
2. Slayer isn't here.
3. You have to get up early and clear out of our house if you stay over!

So everyone can stay over Friday if they wish. Saturday morning however Aaron, Drum and I are heading up to Alton Towers with LLC bunch so you need to be out of our house early. Now we were thinking that we could also meet up again Saturday night when we get home about 7pm. Slayer would also arrive at 8. I then suggest we have our own home game for fun and social aspect since we miss the GC tourney starting at like 6 or something. Now Sykes and Jamie live sufficiently close to be able to drive home Saturday morning and come back in the evening. Satriales however is different. If possible he could stick around with Jamie or Sykes for the day or maybe go watch Cov play or something! Basically there is no way you drive home since you have to come back later. Alternatively you can simply go home and not come back. OR, my final suggestion, is you come to alton towers with us. Now don't really want everyone coming since it is an LLC meet up, not a GR one and other people wouldn't be happy but Gaz would probably be welcome given the circumstances. You wouldn't have to drive there since we have a space in the car but things would be tight with a full car of 5 people. Of course you can drive if you wish and maybe take someone in your car like Drum. All these are options.

So the plan would be to have fun Saturday night. I really don't mind not visiting a casino myself, tbh the main aspect of the meet up I enjoy is meeting people and having fun. Poker just seems to be what we have in common and is hence what we do. You are all welcome to stay over Saturday night again but as I said would be not a lot of sleeping room so Sykes or Jamie may want to pop home. No idea.

Finally Sunday. Aaron is playing the GC £50 Satelite. I feel like slayer may also want to? Aaron says he will certainly buy action and I may take a little if people want to play. I personally don't want to play this but Sunday gives a chance of slayer to visit a casino still and anyone else who sticks around can if they like. People can probably stay over again Sunday (slayer and drum are anyway) but up to you guys.

So basically 3 days and 3 games. Friday £20 8pm. Saturday home game. Sunday £50 whatever time it starts.

If people can reply to this and let me know what they think that would be good. If you prefer then give me a call and we can chat on the phone since there are a fair few details to discuss but this set up seems best for everyone as a whole.

Might be joining Aaron and Drummy tonight, if I do I won't stop at your place as I'm not much of a morning person. Home game tommorow sounds good if everyone else is up for it. Would also be interested in Sunday's tourney too probably.

Re: Parking for Broadway wrote:Hi there, the car park is for the whole of Broadway Plaza, I'm unsure exactly what their prices are but we pay for you to park there while you are using the casino, you just see the reception with your entry ticket and they'll issue you a validation. If you use one of the other businesses on the plaza you'll just have to pay the difference.

What time is the tournament tonight? I was up late last night watching the F1 practice, so I've only just woke up :shifty: but I could leave in an hour or so and get to Coventry for about 4:30 - 5pm.

Saturday shouldn't be much of a problem as I've got a car I can find something to do for the day. I'll probably go and see my dad as he lives in Nottingham, but Alton Towers sounds good as a backup :P

Then Sunday I will probably give the satelite a shot if a couple of others are playing.

Anyway sounds like a good plan :D

Excellent that gives me plenty of time. I thought it might start at 6pm and I would be cutting it close.

So i'll just get some stuff ready and have some lunch then start heading up. I'll send Tom a text when I leave and I should get there about 2hrs after that.
