Lost out twice on the bubble of 18-mans with the best hand :?

In one other, last 3, so in profit I guess...

EDIT - Won the last one, so all good :)

EDIT2 - I seem to bubble a lot of tournies... I've just bubbled 2 SnGs. On one I lost with AK (K high flop) to running Queens (JQ) and then the other the short stack keeps doubling with the worst hand until I get blinded out :x

Just bubbled a third one. I was comfortably third in chips, with 4th place on 200 chips (blinds 100/200) He doubles up with the worst hand about 5 times and then I run my Jacks into Kings.WTF?

On the bubble of the 4th tourney, can you guess what will prob happen?

A small animal (Possibly a vole of some sort) will run across your keyboard. You will reach for the nearest item which will turn out to be a magazine of dubious nature, roll it and attempt to strike the vagrant. Alas! The act merely causes you to accidently call an All In with 23 off suit against pocket Aces. Wonderfully the deck shall smack you around the face like a person who has been refreshed at the local alcohol establishment and you will run quads against his full house, before using your new found chip leader status to dominate and win the game with ease!

Not quite like that, but I did win the game! Broke even for those 4 games, but definately should have won more.

5/18
1/18

9 mans

4/9
4/9
4/9

It's ok. You should probably have raised pre anyway and then you'd have never known it was even coming. :O

Seventh in the lppl Vegas Area Final - a Final Table! Wahoo!

Doubled early second hand hitting a set of Jacks on the flop and got Kings all in, but then saw nothing and was short stacked most of the day.

Then, on the final two tables - with the blinds going up stupidly, I had a hand where I had less than three blinds.

The guy before me raised more than my stack, and I saw SIX-FIVE s, and felt like I would get multiway action. I shoved, and duly got a shove, and two calls.

SIX-QUEEN-FIVE-SIX-JACK

Unbelievable scenes!

Was now more than average by quite a way, and got to the final table. Didn't really get the hands there though, and a cheeky shove with SIX-EIGHT h in the small blind was very lightly called by an off-suit Q-TEN for almost all his chips. I hit two pair, but he got a straight. Thought he'd fold a lot more than that, but oh well!

Still, made a final table, may have won me a poker set and table by the looks of it, two online sets of satellites and a much larger stack at the Nationals in three months! So all in all a very good day of poker!
