PostEighthours for mod. Vote over!
by tnman » Tue Aug 26, 2008 10:59 pm

Should Eighthours be re-appointed as a moderator here on GRcade?

I believe he should, as his strong voice, dedication, and knowledge of the forum is exactly what we need.

VOTING ENDS 10.59PM TONIGHT (27th)

EDIT: Voting has finished.

Yes, provided he wants it. I doubt he would though, considering why he gave up his modship in the old country.

Good point.

Get rid of tnman and let Eighthours be a mod instead.

When I joined Eighty was a mod, so for nostalgic reasons, I voted yes.

Surely he's too busy off filming the next series of Doctor Who?

We should make Goat a mod, since he'll gain the powers anyway.

Would he be replacing you? If so, yes.

lolz aside... Eighthours is a better forumite when he isn't a moderator. I voted no.

Nah, I'm staying either way.

I remember Eighthours being exactly* the same while he was a mod and I thought he did the job well. Why was he de-modded exactly?

*close enough anyway

He requested his own de-modding. He said he didn't like all the extra bullshit that comes with being a moderator for no actual tangible gain.

I would say that I am fine whether Eighthours is appointed a moderator or not. If Eighthours doesn't want to be a moderator and you force him to be one, though…. :|

I agree, let's force him to be a mod!

If he wants it, let him have it. Though I was modded just after him as a replacement, so I've got his chair in the Mod Room now. It's got my arse-dent and everything.

Saying that, he can see the Staff Room now anyway and is actively involved with that, so it wouldn't be too much of a difference modding him.

And we've lost Pell and Kiran so I suppose we're down on numbers, though there's bugger all modding to be done - I've yet to actually do anything with the mod tools over here.

But he's slapping a warning on you now. Let that be a lesson to you. Never be nice to the mods.

I had a warning earlier, but it got removed at the same time as Henke's. This made me sad. If Parksey warns me then I'm basically back to where I was earlier, which is A-Okay. Basically THERE'S NO WAY I CAN LOSE THIS FIGHT.

I've already said he should be re-modded last week. We've lost Pell and Kiran, so we have two spare chairs in the staff room.
