Both are ridiculously over-rated, but Blade Runner is by far the better film.

I thought Blade Runner was a bit boring.

Sci-fi epic legend context. I was, err, discussing the matter with several forum colleagues and wondered what everyone else thought.

Who just said Blade Runner wasn't a good film btw? :|

Bladerunner, watched both recently. I want to watch Bladerunner again, TDK can wait a while. I prefer how subtle Bladerunner is (relative to TDK anyway).

Is Batman considered to be Sci-fi? I've never really thought of it as that.

The picture of Rachel on all the DVD covers, and that picture in the opening post is scary. I hate it for some reason.

TDK a sci-fi epic?!

In case of simply which is the best overall.......I'm torn. TDK is great during it's runtime but Blade Runner will stick with you after that.

I'd call any comic book film a science fiction film in the context that most comic books have their origins in the science fiction world.

It's an insult to Blade Runner that you even compare it to The Dark Knight.

The Dark Knight isn't even the best Batman film.
