The band are back together, recording a new album for Summer 2009.

Quite a surprise but i'm a bit worried how the music will turn out, I really liked the old style blink, didn't like the synthy direction it was taking on the last album and on Mark's side project, I hate all that crap, just give me a punk (ok, pop-punk) album with out all the synthy and bull gooseberry fool new age intros, don't need all this preachy crap.

What do you guys think of this, good thing?

This is great news and even my dad will be pleased as he likes blink 182 as well.

Don't be so quick to judge, my dad also enjoyed listening to Blink 182 back inna di day, when mi was a likkle yout.

He said it gave him fond memories of when he was a punk in London during the 70's, allthough it was a totally different sound he could relate to it somewhere along the line.

I don't care what anyone thinks - these guys are one of my favourite bands ever - the memories their songs bring on are nothing but amazing.

I seriously hope they do a gig over here!

How long are they back together? Summer seems a bit too soon to have a quality album if they're just starting now.
