Ireland for me. Don't expect much, just hope they beat England and Wales.

Come the day and come the hour
Come the power and the glory
We have come to answer
Our Country's call
From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Ireland, Ireland.
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
We'll answer Ireland's call

At least it's actually possible to sing this song, haven't a clue how to sing the proper national anthem

You don't need to. As long as you know the first and last lines(everyone does) you're set. Just mumble the rest.

When I went to Croke Park to see the Ireland/Germany football game, they put the words up on the screen. Still hadn't a clue what to do!

I only know the first and last lines. I've no idea how they're spelled or what they mean but I know how to pronounce them. 8-)

Why is this game on a Friday? That's a little strange. Also, anyone know it'll be on BBC HD?

Interesting when you look at this decade alone according to Wiki;

1. France 66 pts
2. Ireland 62 pts
3. England 60 pts

Yet we haven't won a thing. :x

Some of the matches will be on BBC HD, the England match is tomorrow and Scotland on Sunday. The Irish match won't be (probably because it's RTE's pictures)

I don't know much about the teams, but always love to watch the Six nations. I'll be routing for Cymru but good luck to everyone, well everyone but the French. :P It would be nice to see a Grand Slam again, but lets not get greedy now. As long as we see some good matches i'll be more than happy.

Frankly, I am so pissed off with the way England have gone about things in recent years, I might just root for Wales or take a neutral standpoint and try to enjoy the matches. I know England can turn the corner, but I think it's going to take quite a bit of time and patience yet.
