I'm Currently re-watching this excellent show. It seems to get better with each viewing.

Any other fans here? What's your fave episode, moment, line?

It's hilarious. It's not meant to be a comedy like Only Fools. It's just the things Brent says and does that makes me laugh. His actions stick in my mind a lot longer than a one-liner from a sitcom.

It's my favourite TV show of all time period. I've watched every episode countless times and I could still sit down now and watch it all again. I don't know if I could pick a favourite episode because I've always felt like it comes together perfectly to be what it is. If I was pushed I might have to to say the training day is up there with the best. The Christmas episodes are both pretty special as well.

I've lost my DVD of the second series.

The computer geek is stupidly funny !

But Brent may well be the funniest character I've encountered in anything fictitious.

Oi Brent! Is chasing the Yankee dollar all you care about?

Just looking through clips on youtube, there really are so many genius moments. The opening 40 seconds of this clip in particular get me every time...

Best bits for me:

1. When Brent is doing that presentation to the group in a meeting and he does the "come over a little queer" line.
2. In the special when he sees the fat bird and mutters "oh for f*cks sake" under his breath.
3. When he does is the special guest in that club in the special and somebody from the back of the crowd shouts "w*nker"
4. Anything with Tim and Gareth.

I was funny, but it always left me feeling embarrassed on Gervais's behalf. It isn't something that I'd watch again.

Anyway, yeah I love the office. Brent is a genius creation IMO.

My fave moment from the UK Version.

The Office was and is a brilliant show. I only started watching it when I was flicking through stations and wondered what it was. Unfortunately I was not fooled into thinking it was real as I recognised Ricky Gervais (from the 11o'clock Show) but I was hooked straight away.

I think working in an office makes you appreciate the programme a lot more. Most of the people I know that don’t like it have never worked in offices and so don’t really relate to the stuff that happens. From my own experience in offices, The Office was if anything an under-exaggeration of what it can be like. :D

Does anybody remember the programme about the company that made double glazing? I was never sure if that was real or a comedy like The Office. :D I think it was called The Armstrongs" but I am not sure.

This! Some of the scenes are so cringe worthy! When he does the welcoming speach to the Swindon lot.

The Office is probably the finest sitcom ever written. Has any other sitcom got a blend of brilliant observational humour, touching serious moments and complete consistency quite like The Office?

Favourite Moment: "Fatty fatty toad boy? *Points to Keith* At least start with him and then move on..."

"Fire Fighters are like Ghostbusters, except they fight fire - not ghosts"

Great show, probably the funniest thing ever to be on TV.

I think there's been a rape up there!
