There's no further releases now worthy of note before the New Year, so let's have 'em;

In only pseudo-order;

Wall-E
The Dark Knight
Cloverfield
Iron Man
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Rec
Juno
The King of Kong

Also, just for fun, worst films?

Diary of the Dead
...I'll save the last few and see what you guys think...

Oof, bound to forget a few here but let's have a crack anyway.

El Violin (I've been mentioning this far too much over the last few days, because it's amazing)
Wall-E
There Will Be Blood
The Diving Bell And The Butterfly
Persepolis
Getting Home
No Country For Old Men
The Boss Of It All
I'm A Cyborg But That's Okay
Waltz With Bashir

I'm now currently awaiting 'where is The Dark Knight?'. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, just not as much as these.

You liked Persepolis more?

I thought Persepolis was distinctly average.

I loved it. Perhaps it's maybe not deserving of Top 10 status but I still preffered it over TDK, which did drag in quite a few parts.

For me, to make TDK out of a comic took far more skill and is a much bigger achievement (and was far more interesting) than making Persepolis out of the Iranian Revolution.

Was The King Of Kong released this year? If it was, I chuck Persepolis out of my list and put that in its place.

I'm not sure, I thought it was. I also definitely saw NCfOM last year too, at the cinema.

1. The Dark Knight
2. Iron Man
3. Incredible Hulk

Err... that's all I've actually seen this year in terms of new releases. Very comic book flavoured, eh? Oh actually I also saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but that's too gooseberry fool to make a Top 10 (or 4,) list. I've also had REC on DVD for a month or so now but haven't got around to watching it. :fp:

There's no further releases now worthy of note before the New Year

The Spirit? That still scheduled for a 2008 release?

Yeah, sometimes releases get messed up. Look at I'm A Cyborg But That's Okay. It had an unbelievably short run in cinemas here this year, yet if you type it in google it says it was made way back in 2006. :?

Despite the fact that Persepolis is adapted from a comic too?
