What on earth is Showgirls doing on there? :lol:

It's no laughing matter...

It's listed higher (which I'm guessing means it's more of a must have title for any DVD collection) than Silence of the Lambs, Singing in the Rain, Sin City, The Thing (are you kidding me :x ), Taxi Driver, Terminator & To Kill a Mockingbird, Superman, Toy Story, The Usual Suspects, Unforgiven, 2001 & Wizard of Oz.

I'm guessing it's because it's in the 'so bad, it's good' category. It's very, very funny, unintentionally of course.

Favourite bits, when Glenn Plummer tells Elisabeth Berkley, 'it's okay, I've got towels'. And her scene in the pool, where she strawberry floats like a demented seal.

The fact that Clerks is at Number 17, is enough for me not to take the list seriously.

Quick question about Blue Ray & HDDVD. My new PC has a Blue Ray/HDDVD Drive and I was wondering if the disks were region locked?
Thanks

Anyone know where to get Batman Begins cheaply? Everywhere seems to have uped their prices after the release of the Dark Knight.

The Happening (R2) in November

Fox Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of The Happening on 3rd November 2008. M. Night Shyamalan’s latest is a thriller about a family on the run from a mysterious and deadly phenomenon. Mark Wahlberg stars as Elliot Moore, an ordinary man trying to save his family from a terrifying, invisible killer. As Elliot begins to discover the true nature of what is lurking out there, it soon becomes clear that no one—and nowhere - is safe.

There will be single-disc (£19.99) and 2-Disc Director’s Cut (£22.99 RRP) editions, with the latter featuring an “extended version too shocking to show in cinemas” plus extras and a digital copy of the film.

Extras on the 2-Disc Director’s Cut edition include:

* The Hard Cut (9 min)
* I Hear You Whispering (9 min)
* A Day for Night (7min)
* Elements of a Scene (10 min)
* Visions of The Happening: A Making of documentary (12min)
* Deleted scenes with introductions from M. Night Shyamalan
* Gag reel
