You can already get volumes 1 and 2 for about £8 each.

I also love that the DVDs are exactly the same...way to use up old stock Warner

Where do people buy cheap Blu-rays from?

How about a list of essential and cheap purchases?

I'm all over that Batman Animated Series Boxset, it looks awesome.

This is what I can't wait for:

http://tvshowsondvd.com/news/Sopranos-T ... ries/10354

The Sopranos Complete Boxset with all new extras (finally). The only thing that puts me off is the whopping price tag of $399.99

But it'll be worth it. :D

Good idea!

I don't really know any good deals on a the moment as I haven't moved on to Blu Ray yet, though if someone knows of any then please post and we can stick it on the front page :)

Update

I've added an index to the first post to make things a bit easier to find when the thread gets a bit bigger.

Also if anyone knows any other good on-line retailers for multi-region discs then please post :)

Add movietyme to the list of cheap sites to buy blu-ray.

And also that other one that people buy DS games from that ends .ca which I can't remember the name of, sure I saw batman begins on movietyme for £12.99.

I can recommend DVDs Limited

They're a multi-region DVD (and Blu Ray) retailer based in London. Most items arrive within 24 hours. I've ordered four DVDs from them (There will be Blood, Inside, The Mist, The Orphanage), long before their R2 release. Payment can be made via Paypal too, which is another bonus.

The Animated Series looks awesome, sadly if its $107 in America it'll be £100 here, which means I may have to wait a while for it :(

I no but it wouldn't surprise me if they did to take advantage of the popularity of The Dark Knight

Anchorman is a must. I don't own it yet (have watched my brother's copy every time we see each other), but as this is a special edition, I'll be picking that up now. :-)

Also, BSG Season 4 - DO WANT. Not only does it include Razor but it also has that naughty, naughty Number Six on the front looking hotter than ever. Yuuuuum!

PS: My first post on the new forums. Woot.
