Two very different shows, there. SFU is about a million miles better in every possible way , but that's just my opinion.

A good start to the new season of The Shield

- Loved it when Ronnie took out that guy, I reckon he could get a taste for killing now. And then Shane going in and chopping his feet off
- Dutch is his usual awesome self, I'm glad he exposed Billngs who was hilariously bad at acting disabled.
- The big shock moment for me was when Danny got jumped from behind. I thought she was going to get raped or killed, but luckily she didn't. I think she will get Tina fired now for not clearing the area properly.
- It's going to be very interesting to see how instigating a gang war is going to play out. Despite all their flaws the strike team have always been about stopping killings, this time they are actually going to encourage it!

Stopping killing? Seriously?

Yeah their methods may not be by the book but they do generally have the same aim as normal cops which is to stop crime.

I loved the new episode too, but I would say that the poor quality isn't necessarily a drawback. In a way it adds to the generally grainy and raw production.

FX already have a HD channel, no shield though. I know it's channel 193 on Sky HD.

I do, however, find that the quality Dexter is broadcasted in is a little inconsistent, even within the same episode.

Wow. I can't believe I've waited this long to watch it. I just added the five-set boxset to my birthday present list. Muchos thanks to Chalky for providing the entire season to me!
