Recent discussions I saw there was a few Zune owners so just to pass on the news that version 3.0 is out. I'm quite aware this will die a death quite quickly Exact details are below

I can't believe they haven't bothered to release it outside the US, do they not want to make money?

Reading various hands-on impressions of the 3.0 software Mixview seems like a really cool feature with even Gizmodo saying it is better than the iTunes "Genius" equivalent. The fact Microsoft still won't release it offically over here is just puzzling to me, I'd buy (another ) one and a Zunepass day one.

They may have introduced IP restriction so they know you're a naughty British boy. Try going through a web proxy.

I really want a Zune! They are about to lose my money to Creative.

Did you get it working in the end? I'm trying to figure out which player to get out of a Zune 80gb or Ipod Touch so I want to know if there will be problems using features. I love Hexic too so would definetly want that, but would I have to use a US hotmail account or what? I'm not overly fussed about Marketplace to dl music and stuff as I have gooseberry fool loads on my PC anyway.

I'd buy a Zune if all the cool features worked in the UK without having to get around it somehow or another.
