Replica Challenge 2 results

Brum was a simpler task than the Delorean, and the popularity of the simpler efforts proves trying too hard can sometimes have an adverse effect.

The winners this week were Dalagonash and T9 with 12 votes each! Congratulations!

Those standings in full -

1) Dalagonash & JK - 12
3) JK - 7
4) Mokey - 4
5) Roon & Bandwagon - 3

A common feature was the use of headlight eyes.

3 – T9 Flake - 24
3 – JK - 23
5 – Dalagonash – 16

Supreme GR Banjo Nuts & Bolts Amazo-Tournament Leaderboard!

3 – Dalagonash - 61
4 – Roonmastor - 60
5 – JK - 53
6 – Mokeyjoe - 44
7 – StayDead - 23
8 – Seven - 7

T9Flake is knocked from his throne, just, as Bandwagon takes the lead! If only he had an eye for design he'd be well away. Dalagonash's poor performance in this week's multiplayer has hurt his point total possibilities whilst Roonmastor continues to prove he's a force to be reackoned with. Newcomer StayDead put in a full performance this week with much gusto but failed to penetrate the totals, here's hoping for an improved performance next week.

Fixed that placing error, the maths was done on a piece of paper so that was just me typing them up wrong. No change.

But before Normandies, week 4!

WEEK 4

Replica

Banjo’s Jolly Roger

Image

Avast me harties! Time for Banjo to take to the water and what boat more fitting than the great Captain Hook’s Jolly Roger! Source material differs around the construction details but the main idea is a simple one. Get creative, it’s time Banjo got his feet wet.

Image

Deadline – Blueprints to be sent to me by Thursday 18th at 7pm, please include your name in the title. Voting thread will appear on Friday in GGC

Challenge challenge

Jiggoseum, Act 3, Challenge 1 – World’s Strongest Bear.

Slightly longer than the previous challenges, grab the oversized balls from around the jiggoseum and then place them on the podium, harder than it sounds…

Deadline – Times will be checked on Thursday 18th at 6pm, make sure Dalagonash is your friend on Live!

Mad Cap Multiplayer

Next week’s confirmed race is Hurdles and the sport is Sumo! For this race you’ll need a vehicle capable of clearing numerous hurdles, some homing missiles to nail and bastards taking to the sky may help knock them down a peg or two. Sumo is quite simple, kock the other out, or scupper their attempts to knock you out. These will be followed by two random sports and two random random races with LOG’s choice of vehicles.

Be there, 7:30, next Thursday.

Normandy thread is up.

Over there.

As a treat for all your hard work, here's a cool picture of a lego Normandy:

As I said in the thread, if you want to take and add any pictures because you don't think I did you justice, just send me the links and I'll add them asap.

No worries, by my count we were even on points. I was only keeping count because I noticed he kept finishing one above or below me each event so wanted to beat him. Fear my freewheeling

The Jolly Rodger? FUUUUUU- That looks tough. Toughest yet by far.
The Challenge? FUUUUUU- I still have nightmares about trying to complete this one in the main game. I hope I'm mistaking it for something else.
Hurdles and Sumo? :fp: I suck at those too.

Random sources. I literally say to one of my friends on a Thursday 'name a vehicle' or 'name a mode of transport' or the other week I asked Twitter to name a vehicle, last week I thought I'd make it topical however, hence the Normandy.

Wow, first place, go me. Really pleased with how my Normandy turned out too (even though it handles like a brick), glad it's done well in the voting. Also, could someone send me JK's Normandy, I'd love to have a closer look at it. The Jolly Roger looks tough to build and the test-o-track pool's going to be crowded next week.

Found the Igloo challenge to be a bit of a nightmare, started off making a big plow with all the trays on their side but couldn't figure out how to make it big enough to cover the whole igloo (how does that tow bar thing actually work?) and ended up sticking loads of grenade guns and torpediles on the front, absolutely flattening the igloo and then pushing the remaining blocks out. But even then there'd often be a single block up high that hadn't been knocked down.
