Interplay and Beamdog today announced MDK2 for WiiWare and MDK2 HD for PC.Originally developed by Shiny Entertainment, MDK was released in 1997 by Interplay, with BioWare taking over development for the 2000 sequel that’s getting the WiiWare and HD treatment this winter.MDK2 was released on Dreamcast and PC first before hitting PS2 as MDK2: Armageddon.

The European release of Cave Story is coming soon! The developers hired a member of GAF to do special art for the European launch, and he's now finished it and sent it over to them. He believes we'll be seeing it soon!

Anyone else got Light Trax? It's like the strange love child of F-Zero and Scaletrix with tons of laser lights dazzling about. Is awesome Pretty tough though.

Light Trax is perfect for online multiplayer, shame they couldn't be arsed.

I went on a bit of a shopping spree today on WiiWare and bought Chronos Twins DX, A mindf*ck of a game. Seriously, controlling 2 screens at once is awesome. I also got Penta Tentacles which works wonderfully with a dual-stick setup on the classic controller and Zombie Panic in Wonderland which is actually quite a challenge and a fantastic co-op game.

If this is as good as Trials, it'll be a day one purchase for me. This will be a welcome change from the shovelware that comprises the vast majority of Wiiware games.
