Dear Mr Smith,

Thank you for contacting us regarding your interest in our WiiWare channel. We regret that neither Blaster Master or Cave Story have been submitted to us for release in Europe.

We hope you find more titles that will appeal to you on the WiiWare channel, or try Blaster Master on the Virtual Console channel.

Sorry the answer isn't what you are looking for. If you have time please fill out our customer service questionnaire to help us improve our service to you.

Region locking is a bitch. I fully encourage everyone to pirate Cave Story and apply a region free patch to the file.
You can then pay for it when they want to let you give them money.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Or you could just play it on PC where it originated and it's free.

I know this has been asked many times, but where can I get Wii points for cheap, without buying it from Wii Console itself? I know that's cheap but I don't have Mastercard nor Visa (just Mastero).

Anyway been playing Phoenix Wright (first one) on WiiWare, very good port imo. Still buffed DLC isn't available by now though.

£7 per 1000pts via the shop channel is the cheapest you will find them AFAIK. Shops will generally charge > £16 for 2000pts as they need their cut.

Get yourself a prepaid mastercard instead.

Cult platformer getting prepped for overseas launch

We've just had word from Tyrone Rodriguez at Nicalis that the PAL version of Cave Story has started testing internally (not yet submitted to Nintendo) and has had some changes made that will be announced closer to release.

We know Nintendo Life staffers based in Europe are keen to get their hands on this game (especially those of us that got to preview it), so getting official confirmation that it's coming is great news.

Although not confirmed for release in Australia and New Zealand, we were told "it may be a possibility." So, if you're a fan based in Australasia be sure to make your desire for the game known in the comments below as it could tip the balance in your favour.

Submit it to Nintendo damn it!! They don't even think it's coming out :x

What's new on WiiWare/VC tomorrow? (or tonight)
Hopefully Case 5 DLC will go up so I can finish Phoenix Wright 1.

Bit.Trip Runner, dunno what else.

I'm almost past the point of actually caring about Cave Story getting released now.

Is there any news on what's happening with the Lost Winds series yet, a few months after the last one the indication seemed to be that they were going for a boxed release of some kind?

I don't mind either way I just want more :(

I don't recall that. I reckon we'll see the third one around the same time we saw the first two, i.e. later in the year, maybe October time. Let's hope we're getting an autumnal look this time.

Meh week (although there's a hilarious-looking DSiWare app which flashes lights on the screens to act as a discolight...), but then I still need to get Bit Trip Runner :shifty:

Enjoy T&T though Seven, especially the final two cases...;)
