Look closely, the squared polys on Chris' arms, and the rough textures on the ship.

Certainly not the sign of bullshots or FMV.

How can it look that much better than all the other 3DS games?

Well we all know what can be done with Pre-rendered graphics. It's why Resi 2 & 3 on PSone still hold up today.

Yeah funnily enough i only just noticed that moments before your post. I really shouldn't overhype myself, but still.....

Unless we're way off - those pictures are the size of the screen right?

So graphics look much better/cleaner when smaller (I find). So they'd look horrid on a 32incher, but on a little hand held - sexy.

Being my favourite character in the series, I'd love for Leon to star in this game. Hopefully, if this performs well, he might receive his own Resi title for the 3DS. Perhaps a Resident Evil 2 remake.

The jaggies and texture smudging indicates the backgrounds are 3D just like Resi 4 and 5.

Looks strawberry floating amazing, never really got into a good Resi title, this'll be a day 1 for me.

Capcom have really pushed the boat out on this one!

Uh oh, please tell me this won't have a stupid AI companion with you will it? Seeing those characters on screen suggests it will.

It better have co-op or I will be really disappointed, RE5 really brought new life into the series, was a lot of fun going through with a partner. Though I agree, the AI could be turnt off for single player, so there is no computer controller co-op character, just you alone.

Is that Sheva? I had hoped for pre-rendered backgrounds - oh well. Not sure how well Resi 5 will work on a DS, but any Resi is better than none...

So's the need to show real gameplay footage and not all this press release stills, some show screens close to wii level, some show close to 360 level (can't have one or the other non?) Iwata did state that developers and users alike will be pleasantly surprised with the performance.
