PostValentines Day Massacre Holy **** it works! Console Pimpage!

In a week it'll be that day that some of us blokes semi-expect some and the single people just don't care.
I've taken it upon myself to get my girlfriend a truly special gift - especially after last years debacle (I dumped her :shifty: )
What is a game geek boy to get a girl who is casually into games?

Well, a few months back I discovered that she is the single most 1337 person at Super Mario Bros. on the NES I have ever known. She is mind-blowing... every secret, every shortcut, every hidden coin and 1up she knows the location, every level she knows the quickest route through and her finesses with handling Mario's chunky run and lofty jump are mesmerising.

I've had a Super Mario Bros. NES cart knocking about for ages, so I decided to get her a NES to play it on proper (cheers Rodders9) but I've butchered it for my girly girl, I've made it hers... or at least intend to. For now I'll just show off the controller...

girlfriend isn't a gamer, she wanted blu ray movies and she got me a god of war figure (early, I know) and is getting me the hunter version of aliens vs predator for 360. Can't wait.

Aww that's a good idea! At least you've put effort into it instead of a few clicks of an online store. You should get the good stuff in return!

Valentines Day isn't for presents IMO. It's for posh food followed by sex.

The top of the casing has been re-assembled. Just need to add some li'l stick on crystals when the entire unit is rebuilt.

That's awesome Plastiche, looks like it was done by a professional modder rather than a hobbyist :o

This is my 360 - not really a technically advanced mod (I can't afford to replace it if I take it apart and strawberry float it up!), but I really like it:-
