Just got Battlefield Bad Company and it seems the difficulty level achievements don't stack...

So i have to play through normal after i play through hard to get all 40g for each level. I think it's a little bit unneccesary, but the game is ridiculously easy regardless as you 'respawn' with no penalty, similar to bioshock.

Do you guys think this is retarded or is it just me?

I think it's fine. I get fed up in games where you kill 99% of enemies, the last one kills you and you have to do it all again.

I don't think I minded as much when I had more time, but if you're talking about 30 minutes or so of play and you've got an hour maybe two to play that night.......

For BC I played through on hard, then went through real fast on normal (just drive past enemies) picking up the gold bars which aren't marked on maps (thanks a360p.com). I got all the collectibles on the hard playthrough as mostly they're marked by Xs or enemies drop them.

My three best games are Rock Band, Dead Rising and Burnout Revenge, my three best achievements are "End Career with 1000 points" from Topspin 2(559points) "Defeat Clarence Callahan "Razor" from NFS: MW(551 points) and "Complete 30 years of franchise" from NHL06(469 points).

In achievement news, I've gone back to Crackdown, and although my DLC has corrupted and my save game file is gone, it has a silver lining as I can now tick off the orbs from a checklist and map, and I know exactly how many I have from each area, as well as how many are in each area.

I just got my achievement for A ranking on level 1 of Ikaruga. Probably sounds really gooseberry fool for any Ikaruga manics out there, but i'm damn happy :P Only got the game recently, and i've just started getting used to this insane chaining thing. Wow, amazing game.

That's sounds like a good idea. Can I move my save file to the memory card then start a new game and use the DLC to turn off the gangs ?

Tried out the True Achievement site this morning and it seems pretty interesting. All seems a bit glitchy at the moment though (last played games, achievements, etc.). Maybe I should give it an hour or so first?

Anyway over the weekend I got a fair few achievements from GH Areosmith and Grid.

Highest TA rated achievement WSC2007 Golden Cue 585 (50g) 11.70

Highest TA game WSC2007 2372 (560g)

TA ratio of 1.41

Highest TA achievement I could get is Eternal Sonata, EZI Worshipper 1,232 (321g) 3.84 and the highest rated achievement I could get is GH3 Now That's Impressive 436 (20g) 21.80 ..... yea okay.

By using the various filters on the achievement lists of your games you can see what achievements you could attempt to go for that you may have missed on games you have already played through once. The bandwidth issues on that site must be horrendous!

I have no idea. I'd say try it if you're not overly bothered about the save.

I will do one night. i got about 11 green ones and 30 hidden ones left. For the on foot races, do I need to beat the maximum time limit ? cos that ferris wheel race does my strawberry floating head in.

AND one more thing, what map guide you using as well?

Flying through NBA 2k7 at the mo, it's really straightforward. The only thing I was having trouble with was getting x amount of Blocks, but playing against my new team of 4'6" Midgets has solved that.

Too Human's pretty good with the old Achievments.

About 650 from one play through (10 hours)

I think some of them might be the stuff of nightmares though (complete Hell without dying  )
