I think having a boosting site is a bit different from an achievement site, though. And I suggested it could maybe become affiliated with an achievement site so it can get a good amount of traffic (along with a fair share of idiots, unfortunately! :P ).

Maybe each game could have a month calendar under it where people can register their intent to play, how many people they're looking for, how many they have and what achievements they are going for (will boost for).

So it would look something like:

Fri 19/09/08: Samoza (1 person needed)
Sat 20/09/08:
Sun 21/09/08:- SpaceJebus23 (1-6 people needed)

Then when people click on a name the second bit could collapse down,

Already joined: RoughOutline
Boosting for: Seriously... (50gp)
Is It a Spider? (30gp)

You coulde then make it so people could search by Game, Date or Achievement. It would need quite a bit of programming though.

The idiots go with the territory. If some of the smart people had forum powers, we'd be able to weed out the people who are just causing trouble, or those who arrange dates to boost and then don't show(with no good reason, that is), for example.

So, who can set up the site?

It's also just occurred to me that whoring is looked down upon by the powers that be in Microsoft, so we would clearly need to come up with some good PR to get us started. I like the bottom URL though, it speaks to me.

You will then need to market the site as a place to arrange games meet up and to find new buddies to play games that no ones plays anymore without any obvious references to whoring!

By the way Corozon, my NBA 2k7 been shipped for £2.50. Most probably will arrive tomorrow so tomorrow night we can boost along with GH3!!

hmm...I could go with the 14p per day one. If we were to get this off the ground though, we'd need someone to actually set up the website etc. Plus we'd need ideas and the like as to how it would work.

Web programming is NOT my forte I am afraid! I am sure someone will be along that can knock up a site.

If anyone is serious about doing this site, can you send me a PM so I can get some idea of the numbers and skills of people involved. I am reasonably well off financially, so don't worry too much about costs involved. I think we should stop blocking the thread with all this talk.

So, there are now 117 days left of the year, and I still need 19,421 for the 100k. That's 166 per day. I think I need to revise my target. :(

Oh, and for the guys who've 200'd Fable Pub Games, how long did it take for the No Stone Unturned achievement? I think it's possibly the most retarded achievement I've ever gone for. :x

But wait. Its the richest period of game release for the year. perhaps you can buy like 30 games and spam all the easier acheivements,

You can do it!

Buy games? I don't really do that any more. I've still got about ten unplayed at home. Might get Gears 2, but that's about it for this year.

Its a bit of a git, have you got it yet? I was trying for a couple of hours (maybe) on the cheapest keystone table;- bet, lose, quit repeat. Whilst doing this i read a post on the 360 achievements forum on my laptop, which basically said- Try betting on the highest stake keystone table, max bet on outer stones 3 and 18 then max bet on 3 and 18 inner stone. I went straight onto the high stakes table did exactly that bet and got the achievement first time.

Got another Crackdown achievement. The only problematic ones left are the secret orb achievement and the crappy stunt rings one.
