Speaking of zombies, someone is finally making a zombie TV series. It's an independent show called 'Lifeless'.

A few teaser clips released so far and it's looking good. Hopefully this will raise more interest and we'll see more zombie shows in the future.

Another one's also in the pipeline

AMC is close to finalizing one of the richest development deals ever with Frank Darabont to write and direct a series adaptation of the Image Comics graphic novel series "The Walking Dead," written by Robert Kirkman.

Variety says that Gale Anne Hurd of Valhalla Motion Pictures and David Alpert of Circle of Confusion are also on board to executive produce.

The story is set among a group of zombie survivors of an apocalypse who are led by a police officer, Rick Grimes, in search of a safe place to live.

AMC Senior Vice President of Programming Joel Stillerman said the series will stay faithful to the tone of the original novels. "This is not about zombies popping out of closets. This is a story about survival, and the dynamics of what happens when a group is forced to survive under these circumstances. The world (in 'Walking Dead') is portrayed in a smart, sophisticated way."

Yeah I know about Dead Set, but it doesn't really count. I should get around to watching it at some point.

I really, really, really should start reading this. I bought the book from Play a few months ago and haven't started it yet. But my God, I bet it'll give me an absolute boner. I love zombies.

I really don't understand all the Zombie love. They're the slowest, stupides, most useless enemies ever conceived by man. You can get away from them just by walking briskly.

It's all about the sheer numbers you realise, yeah?

I don't love 'em as enemies, but it's obvious what role they do in scaring people on a basic level.

If you honestly think you can escape zombies that easily, you don't understand zombies.

They're the most frightening thing ever. Can you imagine a whole town of dead people relentlessly coming after you no matter where you hide? Imagine hiding in home while dead bodies clamber through your gardens and up against the windows downstairs while you have to stay completely silent or else your trapped. There's nothing more terrifying than zombies. Nothing.

I often imagine people in real life are zombies. Last night, walking up the car park from work. I was on my own at the end of the car park and looked back to see everyone else coming out of work. I imagine they were all zombies walking up the car park and it was a scary thought.

Zombie books give me the freaking creeps. So again, I really should start WWZ soon.

In a zombie outbreak, MCN would die within the first week. And he's definitely someone I would murder if he was trying to survive with me. I don't need no fools like MCN ruining my chances of surviving.

I'm no fool. That's right. Any mother strawberry floater that endangers my life in a zombie outbreak is getting killed.
