If you installed 64-bit version of 7, have you installed the 64-bit version of iTunes?

And you would change Operating System because of iTunes?? :fp:

Im using the 32 bit version and ye i would consider changing back. I cant even listen to music on it properly. Its not that much better than vista anyway.

Why not, y'know, use a better media player?

This man talks sense, if iTunes isn't performing correctly, change media player. I've had problems with iTunes on the 64bit version so i went back to WMP

After a few initial problems with itunes after I got Windows 7, it seems to be working perfectly now. Had no problems since the early issues.

iTunes is saying it can't save the library file as it doesn't have the right priveleges?

Well, I've got a shiny new 1tb Samsung F1 on the way. Maybe I'll install this Windows 7 thing myself and see what all the fuss is about.

Though not iTunes, because it's gooseberry fool.

My itunes is working perfectly on Windows 7, although when it's pinned to the taskbar it opens another icon on the taskbar as opposed to just highlighting the one on there like so (loving the snipping tool:):

Edit:Actually fixed: pinned it to the taskbar whilst running and unpinned the other icon and it seems to have done the trick.

Ive found out why my audio skips, using the aero themes causes the skips. My laptop should be up to the job of running of aero though.

Soon will get depending on your info. Quick questions for Windows 7 owners...

Q1) Has the sleep/hibernate mode been fixed?

Q2) In comparison to running Vista on your PC is it faster, slower, or approximately the same speed?

thanks!

1) I didn't know it was broken. Please elaborate.
2) It is faster. It's basically Vista at the core, but tweaked and improved to strawberry float.

I don't know about Venom, but when I put my PC to sleep in the beta it wouldn't wake up without restarting the machine, rather than just tapping the keyboard to wake it up.

This has not been fixed.
