I didn't particularly like him in the movie but he was always good in the original series and I always liked his voice actor. :wub:

He was the first ever Transformer to be shown on screen in the original series. 8-)

Wheeljack was the primary architect of both the Dinobots & Aerialbots.

This is true. For that he will always be remembered.

I actually only found out Wheeljack (and Windcharger alongside him) was one of the fallen Autobots a few years ago. I had missed it all those times previous, but then he only got about half a second of screentime.

Yeah, that turned out really well. The Dinobots went on to attack the Autobots and the Aerialbots turned heel and joined the Decepticons in their first episode.

The Movie, as great as it is, turned the Transformers universe on its head for me as a child. I remember sitting in the cinema with my Optimus Prime and Prowl toys, only to see them both killed off within thirty mins :cry:

Then watch the rest of the movie not knowing who these new heroes were :lol:

According to Wiki, Wheeljack died in the movie trying to help Mirage, and according to storyboards of unmade scenes, he was killed by Thundercracker.
