So I went to GAME and after seeing no sign of it, I asked the guy behind the counter and he just said they'd not received any so as far as they knew it had been put back a week.

Having a friend who'd got it off Amazon and knowing people on here had it I made a last ditch attempt and walked to the only remaining game shop in town - Blockbuster who had a few copies in for both 360 and PS3.

So god knows what's going on with GAME and Tesco, I assumed it was a local problem but from reading on here I assume not then.. weird.

According to a mate at Gamestation, Game group is having a kind of war of wits with Activision at the moment. They cant shift their remaining 11,000 copies of Modern Warfare 2 apparently, and Acti wont take them back

And to top it off they charge Game £38 per copy of Transformers..so its either sell it at a loss, jack the price up to £45, or dont sell it...

lol ive heard about these issues, thinking about it my friend works at gamestation he's a supervisor, i think i will ahve a chat with him , see what gossip he has on this.

Other than that it is immense fun, very Gears of War with giant robots, and absolutely pretty visuals.

Yeah I got so annoyed playing as Megatron and running out of ammo! He's got a giant energy cannon on his arm! He doesn't need ammo!

Really bugged me it did.

Even more so as one of the Autobots has unlimited missiles while in vehicle mode I mean wtf?

Starscream also has unlimited machine gun bullets and missiles when in jet mode :fp:

Friend of mine at Game seems to think its because Game don't see it or Blur as 'system sellers' like the COD series and like so many other retailers are refusing to stock said titles in any numbers. Wouldn't be the first time a retailer has snubbed a game because of low sale expectations, regardless of the games quality.

Probably. Last time I checked, War For Cybertron was either intended as, or has been absorbed into, Tranformers Prime continuity. Prime itself is set on Earth, so unless this is set immediately after the first game, prior to departing Cybertron it's very likely to be the setting.
