It's still Transformers and I don't think you can argue that this type of film with it's special effect heavy approach is very entertaining on the big screen, regardless of whether the actual story is up to much or not.

I'm going to see it on Sunday night with my girlfriend.

Besides the first film was an awesome summer blockbuster. It wasn't movie of the year, it was just a great, fun film.

I'm hoping that this one continues on from that and from the footage i've seen and from the reviews by people that understand where the film is coming from, it's looking pretty good too me.

Also i'm a little annoyed that they've gone through the trouble of making an aerialbots combiner toy and not put them in the film

FYI, the upcoming Transformers game based on the movie has the Aerialbots, Protectobots and a host of other G1 characters that didn't make the film! Let's just hope the game is actually good.
