In other news, they've finally nailed the format of the show. The editing was good, the commentary funny - they've sorted out all the gremlins. It helped that it was a bloody good lineup as well. Easily the best episode of the series so far.

Got the episode downloaded now, its available on newsgroups, and probably torrent sites too, but I haven't checked.

I am actually half tempted to sign up for this myself.

Although I know I would never be able to beat the awesomeness that was Grumpy David.

Credit to the other guy, he was faster and therefore deservedly won. But the production team strawberry floated you over royally. The Donkey Kong barrels are released by two men behind the waterfall and only release them until you get 4/5ths or so up the ramp and then stop. They didn't do this for you. Your last barrel was released when you had passed the imaginary 'line' that stops barrel releases. As such you couldn't jump the barrel because there was nowhere to jump to. Your time lost here, conservatively two seconds, was critical in the end.

Your "Let's do this" line before the Final was :lol:

simply for the sheer look of terror on your face straight after (1.07 on Part 7)
