(See DML's topic for background info.)

So the time is nearly upon us. As you all know, back in November I went to Argentina to compete in a new BBC1 show called Total Wipeout (obv), you can see a clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGkbngtTVoo as well as others on YouTube. This coming episode on Saturday 21st on BBC1 at 5.40PM will be featuring yours truly. So the purpose of this thread is to serve as a reminder to people to watch it and as a place to discuss (read: make fun of) the crap I say* and laugh at what I do.

I'm on the middle donut:

Ah, my mates were watching this on YouTube about two weeks ago and laughed themselves silly.

I hope GRcade gets some exposure from this ;)

This needs a bump.

What's your name, Cube? I want to know who I'm cheering on!

I flicked through that show one time, I always thought that would have been filmed outside the UK, it would have never pass 'health and safety' here.

I can't wait to see what his "funny" nickname is from The Hamster.

:o

What's your name Cubey? Did you give a GR shout out?

But I sense you didn't win a bean though, otherwise you would have been on here at the first opportunity! :(

We already know the result. Cubey does very well.

I love these types of show. I must admit I am a big fan of Ninja Warrior (Sasuke) and this is a more fun silly version really. I'll look out for you.

Oh right, I presumed he was the guy in the youtube clip, and was ready to laugh at him for falling off the first corner.

Will this be on BBC iPlayer?

It's going pretty well so far, I've only got 8 hours a week so most of the time I'm living up to the lazy student stereotype. 8-)

It's David. :) Other info: 18 (youngest contestant on episode, if not current series), from London, Student and I'll be wearing a red t-shirt, except for when I'm in a wetsuit in 42c heat.

There's a few pictures of me in DML's thread if your not aware of what I look like.

I never even thought about that! Hamster only gives some of the contestants nicknames doesn't he? I better get a good nickname, if I get one at all!

I wanted to fit in a GRCade reference but we weren't allowed to, I did manage to slip in a couple of COD4's "Let's Do This" quotes.

You'll see how close I come to winning the £10,000 on Saturday. :(

That was just the first Total Wipeout clip that came up on Youtube, just linking it for people who had never seen an episode and knew nothing about the show.

Yes, it will be on BBC iPlayer, its usually available about 10 minutes after the episode finishes.

Awesome. Nice work!

I'll be watching. :D

It was funny when Hammond kept calling that guy (Rich, or something) 'literally Rich', 'cause. you guessed it, he used the word 'literally' a lot.
