strawberry floating hell. This. I forgot about that.

It's strawberry floating terrifying. It's one of the most evil looks I've ever seen.

I don't usually like appearing in threads simply to complain about other people's opinions...

...

BUT!

How/why is Quantum of Solace appearing on anyone's list? It's by far the worst film I saw this year, if not for the past couple of years. An awful, awful film and a terrible waste of potential.

Anyway, my list:

1: No Country for Old Men
2: There Will Be Blood
3: The Dark Knight
4: Juno
5: The Mist

Can't really think of any others.

Out of what I've seen:

1)The Dark Knight
2)No Country for Old Men
3)Wall-E
4)Cloverfield
5)Tropic Thunder

I've not seen much this year at all looking back! To be honest the only films I really, really liked were TDK and NCFOM, though I'm hoping I'll like Wall-E more on a repeated viewing.

Still want to see (From most wanting to least wanting): Iron Man, Juno, Kung Fu Panda, Quantom of Solace. That's only off the top of my head though, there may be more.

The Dark Knight
Quantum of solace
Cloverfield
Iron Man
The Boy in stripped pyjamas
Changeling

That's what's fresh on my mind anyway.

I've decided against my better will and sanity to get into an argument over how godawful Into The Wild is (even though I prior exclaimed that I could see why people would enjoy it, let it be known that that was a filthy lie) but thank you Sarge for also seeing how pants it is, there's an \o waiting for you if you feel the need.

Not see DotD (waiting for the Sky Movies airing), but X-Files: IWtB was absolute shite.

One of the biggest disappointments of the year. :(

The Dark Knight
Cloverfield
The Mist
Ironman
No Country for Old Men

And the OK's

Rambo

Biggest disappointment

Oh, go on then.

Finding it hard thinking of 10 films I enjoyed this year.

No Country for old Men - Saw it last year, but hey, it was released this year, so it's staying. For my money the best film of the year.
The Dark Knight - An intelligent blockbuster. Whatever next?
Indiana Jones - Very enjoyable, Harrison Ford, the fedora, John Williams' music. What's not to like?
Cloverfield - Caught me by surprise this did, it's derivative, but it's execution is superb.
The Orphanage - Moving little ghost story, with an absolutely superb twist.
Wall E - It's amazing how much pathos Pixar can wring from a dustbin with eyes.
Wanted - Daft as a brush, it's sheer audacity wins through though.

Cloverfield was in my original top ten, but it loses a certain something in the transition to DVD.

It's definitely a big screen action movie, watching it on a 22" TV is pretty pointless. (especially during some of the shaky cam action scenes)

Still, a very enjoyable movie...hopefully Hollywood will go on to give it a big budget remake. (or a new Godzilla movie that doesn't suck)
