It's probably not as serious as the media are making it out to be. He can't have been going too fast if it was just from hitting a fire hydrant as he pulled out of the drive, unless he has a really big drive :?

There's nothing wrong with him other than a bit of whiplash. The way sky news were going on about it earlier you'd swear he was near death. They sounded dissappointed when it turned out to be nothing.

Celebrity SCANDLE. Are you all alseep?

Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol -- that should happen this afternoon. But we're told Tiger had a conversation Friday -- with a non-law enforcement type -- detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.

We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.

Tiger WoodsWe're told Woods became "distracted," thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

We're also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene

Surprising lack of discussion about this whole affair. Because we have such draconian curbs on free speech in this country he's apparently been awarded an injunction preventing the UK media from discussing what is all over the news in America. The question is this GR what exactly is he got the injunction against?

At the time we heard the initial report, the wife and I immediately thought "chased out of the house by angry wife". Hilarious

The Tiger Woods mistress and accident scandal has, predictably, already made it into at least one court system.

Although Woods' legal team will not confirm or deny rumors that there are nude pictures, and possibly sex videos of the golf star, they nevertheless sought an injunction in the UK against the publication there of any such pictures, should they exist.

The High Court of London ruled that no UK media outlet or blog could publish potential nude pictures or videos of Tiger Woods.

After obtaining the injunction, Woods' lawyers then quickly notified media outlets throughout the UK in order to stop any publication of materials that may or may not exist.

Most rational people would tend to believe that such pictures exist. Why else would Woods incur thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of dollars in legal fees to attempt to stop their release.

Given the reach of the internet, it is highly unlikely that, should material exist, it will be suppressed world-wide. However, money is a powerful motivator. If a mistress or other person possesses the pictures, and no media outlet with the money to purchase them can do so because of injunctions, then the person who is trying to sell them might sell them back to Woods directly.

Okay, I know I keep plugging this but I've written about ten articles about the guy this week and it would be nice if somebody actually read one. Or more likely, clicked a link and then mentally noted tl;dr. Anyway, here's a summary:

He's announced he's taking a hiatus from golf for the time being, incidentally.
