But only on the US Marketplace, and only for Gold members. Nice one MS, you really expect me to pay for promotional content?

No they expect you to miss not having Gold.

It's not rocket science regardless of whether it works on you or not.

I realize that. I'm not paying for two Gold subscriptions in order to get the odd Indie game or demo, though.

Of course not. But I'm certain it was reported that we would be receiving the demo here too at some point.

It just irritates me that I get a lesser service than other regions, but at a higher price.

I think demos go up a week later for silver members. Hopefully they'll actually release it over here.

Some Crimson Alliance info:
Three classes are available: the Assassin, Wizard and Mercenary. Each has five special abilities, upgraded over time. Specialising is how you customise your character. Co-op is for up to four friends – on the same Xbox 360 or over Live. You can create chain attacks that combine class abilities.

"One of the reasons I started Certain Affinity was because I wanted to make a game like this – an action RPG with clever AI, fantastic physics and deep emergent gameplay that can be enjoyed with friends in the living room or halfway across the globe," said boss Max Hoberman.

Sounds good to me! It's out this Summer.

I guess it's going to be one of the summer of arcade releases?

Thought this had been posted earlier, but it seems not...

Before everyone gets excited by Kill Team, I've had a little look around and I think its being developed by the people that made Red Faction: Battlegrounds, which wasn't so good.

So, Kill Team is just Alien Breed with Space Marines and Orks?

Apparently those Metal Gear and Zone of the Enders HD games are coming to XBLA and PSN too:
"Digital Download Versions are planned to be distributed via PlayStationStore, Xbox Live ARCADE,” it reads for both MGS and Zone of the Enders pages.

Oh and just a heads-up on this year's Summer of Arcade - the line-up will be revealed on GameTrailers live E3 show in the 1/2 hour before Microsoft's conference starts on Monday (so from 5pm):

Bastion will definitely be part of the lineup. Possibly Wrecked too.

Probably not the exact place for this, but is the most recent 360 update massive? I haven't turned on the 360 for ages and when I turned it on today, an update was needed so I let it get on with it. Unlike the usual quick updates, it must have taken around 30 mins to get to the half way mark so I cancelled it for another day. I don't have the fastest internet connection in the world, but based on my PSN download speeds, it is about 1MB every 2 seconds, so either it is a massive update or some problem with MS's server today.

Yes?
