This is mainly the Sega Rally 3 arcade game that was developed alongside the retail game (and shared assets with), it features cars from the retail game and added Online MP and Time Attack modes.

The tracks are from the arcade, there are 5 of them. Tropical, Canyon, Alpine, Lakeside and Desert '95. The first 3 are different tracks to the ones in the retail release but contain sections from tracks in that game (which lead some to mistakingly think they are taken straight from the retail game when they aren't). Lakeside I think is completely different to the retail Lakeside track and Desert 95 is a remake of the first track from the original Sega Rally.

Apparently the handling is also different, but its not something I really noticed to be honest.

Desert'95 is such a great reproduction of the original. So fast

I heard a rumour that there is a hidden track?

As for the handling it's a lot closer to the original than the retail version, so yes there is a difference.

I'm 10 seconds in front of all of them (Tropical might be more like 15+).

Really they aren't that hard to beat, you should try download some of the top leaderboard ghosts.

Quite eager to see what's on Deal of the Week. I have 2400pts sitting there, doing nothing.

Maybe it's a Derren Brown style trick to try and get you to 'Like' the video on Youtube.

https://connect.microsoft.com/site1241

Want to get your hands on some Ms. Splosion Man action early?! Yeah you do, that’s why we got an early public access test all set up and ready for you. This type of testing doesn’t happen often in XBLA, so we are very excited to be one of the studios to be able to bring this to you. 10,000 spots are reserved so you should act fast – we’re expecting these invites to fill up quickly. The registration window is from May 24th to June 12th and happens here: https://connect.microsoft.com/site1241 just follow the instructions and you’re good to splode!

On June 6th the fun will begin and will last until June 26th. Participants will get two multiplayer levels each week, so play online often and send us your bug reports and comments to beta@twistedpixelgames.com. The point of this early access program is to gain your feedback on how we can better your online gaming experience, so speak up. Your voice will be heard and feedback taken into consideration. Thanks so much for being such passionate fans. We really appreciate you taking the time to help us out. Hope you like the game!

Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Out On Xbox 360 In June
Marvelous officially revealed Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax in this week’s issue of Famitsu. Since we’ve been talking about the Xbox 360 release since February, it’s nice to hear more about it.

The magazine says Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax has two graphic styles – pixel art from the PSP version and a brand new Neo Cartoon mode. Marvelous also added 62 quests and online multiplayer.

Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax is scheduled for release on June 29 and will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10) at launch. While the release date has only been announced in Japan, Microsoft typically releases Xbox Live Arcade games around the world at the same time.

From Siliconera.

Did not know Half-Minute Hero was heading to XBL .

Finally got round to playing and completing Costume Quest yesterday. Great little game, I picked it up when it was on sale. Is the DLC worth the 400pts?
