The storm in the south east last night was insane. I was woken up by my room flashing bright white light every few seconds and huge amounts of thunder. Scared the hell out of me.

Yeah the storm woke me up around 4am was a lot of intense lighting around here but the rumbles were in the distance we just missed the worst of it apparently. But even though i have blackout curtains the flashes were still filling my room the lightning was constant. Took me a while to doze of back to sleep. I knew the storms hit or were close to Kent around 12.30-1pm last night and was a big storm front coming up from France

I can't remember a worse start to the year weather wise than this. 5 months in and we've had ONE good day. strawberry float me.

Depends on what you count as a good day. There's definitely been more than one day where I've been able to leave the house in summer clothes. Not a lot for sure but there have been a few.

Yesterday was beautiful, but I was working!

Today, I'm off and the weather is okay.

Speaking of which, it's been ages since i last got to see any, i could hear them in the trees at Battersea last weekend but wasn't able to spot them.
