Don't know if anyone has said but Game Change was shown in America on Sunday, giving it a watch later.

It was very good. Frightening. Slightly too generous to McCain and Schmidt.

The movie is based on bestselling book Game Change by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, documents the management meltdown of the McCain presidential campaign during the 2008 United States presidential election, with significant focus on the introduction of then-Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin as the vice-presidential running mate of Senator John McCain. Game Change concludes with the defeat of McCain/Palin to the Democratic ticket of Senators Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

CBS is getting out in front with early renewals for fall, picking up 18 of its series for next season. Among the dramas landing renewals on Wednesday were NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-0, Criminal Minds, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Mentalist, Blue Bloods, The Good Wife and freshman entry Person Of Interest. Comedies getting a greenlight were Mike & Molly and 2 Broke Girls. Reality shows The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss earned pickups as well

I watch a load of those Dramas so good to hear. No sign of Unforgettable, CSI: NY and CSI: Miami yet.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS. More Person of Interest. :D

Has the Mentalist finished the Red John storyline? I gave up on the show when the only interesting storyline got the "How I Met Your Mother troll the audience" treatment. Both shows need to hurry the hell up instead of dragging it out, been way too long.

The Red John story continues which is good for the show as there is no reason for The Mentalist to exist without it. In interviews the writers and cast claimed it would be resolved in the season 3 finale. Said finale ended with this scene where Bradley Whitford appears and claims to be Red John.

Of course in the very next episode, Jane realises he wasn't Red John after all.

"Worth suffering through" doesn't mean I want it renewed.

Haven't seen today's episode but just thought I'd say Justified has been excellent this season, the last few eps in particular have been dynamite

HBO has decided to cancel production on Luck following the death of a third horse on the series.

The network released this statement:

“It is with heartbreak that executive producers David Milch and Michael Mann together with HBO have decided to cease all future production on the series Luck. Safety is always of paramount concern. We maintained the highest safety standards throughout production, higher in fact than any protocols existing in horseracing anywhere with many fewer incidents than occur in racing or than befall horses normally in barns at night or pastures. While we maintained the highest safety standards possible, accidents unfortunately happen and it is impossible to guarantee they won’t in the future. Accordingly, we have reached this difficult decision. We are immensely proud of this series, the writing, the acting, the filmmaking, the celebration of the culture of horses, and everyone involved in its creation.”

The first-year drama had already earned a second-season pickup, so production was underway on the second of 10 new episodes when a horse was injured and euthanized Tuesday at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. The American Humane Association is investigating the set. The show’s final two episodes will still air.

Added Mann and Milch: “The two of us loved this series, loved the cast, crew and writers. This has been a tremendous collaboration and one that we plan to continue in the future.”

More to come….

Probably helps that the 1st season ratings have been terrible but I've enjoyed it alot.

I see CNBC have taken Jay Leno off the schedule for whatever reason & replaced it with Late Night with Jimmy Fallen. I watched it last night & they'd edited out about 10 minutes, making the interviews incredibly short.

You'd think with the amount of channels we have someone would pick up Letterman (used to be on ITV2) & Craig Ferguson.

David Milch hasn't had a lot of luck since Deadwood. And even that could have done with another season.

Also The River episode 7. strawberry floating zombies. Yawn.

You should get back in the game Mitch Yost.
