Oh good lord Fringe was good.

That would have been a fine pre-Christmas finale.

Like most of the "good" episodes this year it answers questions on the new status quo, while moving the arc along nicely

John Noble shows everyone how it's done from 3 minutes in until the end.

Cougar Town back soon after Work It cancelled after 2 episodes??:-

This will immediately raise speculation regarding the fate of "Cougar Town," ABC's lone midseason comedy without a schedule slot. In the same chat with reporters, Lee said that an announcement would be coming soon on a "Cougar Town" premiere date and that the network had a slot in mind. Was Lee already anticipating Friday's move?

Adding fuel to the fire late on Friday night were "Cougar Town" creators Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel, who engaged fans on Twitter soon after the "Work It" announcement.

Lawrence tweeted, "Hoping CT's premiere date will be announced Tuesday. Fingers crossed..."

And Biegel tweeted, "You should all hear very soon about Cougar Town's return date. Everyone gets a kiss, a hug and a handshake for waiting patiently"

Started watching Parks and Recreation on Netflix though. I really like it so far.

You really like Parks season 1? If you like season 1 then well you're in for a treat when you get to S2.

The first season has a few moments but its absolutely awful compared to the quality of S2, 3 and the so far excellent 4th season. Amazing show, you just have to put up with what, 5 or 6 episodes or whatever it was for amazing tv.

This is all good news. I really like the characters, even though I know I shouldn't.

I love all the characters in Parks bar that Mark guy, I think its a great cast of characters and actors. My favourite is Andy followed by Ron.

Mark reminds me of Luke from Gilmore Girls for some reason, so I don't mind him.

I don't know what to make of Homeland. It's good but it seems to trip itself up a lot. I get the sense that it wants to be a bit more of a serious drama, a Sleeper Cell rather than 24 if you will. It keeps doing all this stupid stuff that really undermines that though. It has built up some quality characters though and 110 was pretty awesome, even if it did completely failed to pull off some of the 'Realistic Spying' stuff.

I've been re-watching them all lately. It gets a lot better starting season 2.

Nice. I hadn't realised that there were 7 series of it too. Good news.

I should give Parks a go, hardly watch any US comedies.

Just finished season 2 of Breaking Bad. My god. I thought the first season was OK, a bit of a slow burner but interesting, but season 2 was something else. What a fantastic show.

Already downloading season 3.

I think series 3 is on the US Netflix if you have it.
