And the reason is fairly simple - all the press releases/news/spoilers/trailers etc will use the American dates/days. Far easier to be consistant and caveat, than expect everyone to know/remember/change in their heads.

Its a good show, I miss Jen K (LonelyGirl15) but its still a brilliant show. Wikipedia says "Greek will return for its second season on August 26, 2008 with 10 new episodes." Also TV.com also states that the show airs on the 26th of this month.
