Yes. It's ok I would quite like to see it again though.

It really recreated the feeling of being stuck in a terminal. BORING.

Actually, I can't remember much about it. I wouldn't pay more than a couple of quid for it.

It is pretty good, I think it got a lot of unfair stick when it came out, like people were expecting a lot more from it.

Stanley Tucci steals the show for me though.

No it's ok thanks.

This film is very unassuming isn't it? I really enjoyed the chilled out approach to direction, it wasn't OTT and didn't feel like a Speilberg film at all. Hanks was good and it was quite amusing without being hilarious, although the later scenes with his mates which were meant to be touching clearly were not. The start however and continual harsh treatment of Vincent by pretty much every American was sad and made me feel very sorry for him, I love it when a film makes me feel any sort of emotion apart from discust.

Really nice little film, if you haven't seen it I would recommend doing so :)

The only I reason I've ever watched and will ever watch The Terminal is for Catherine Zeta-Jones. She is ridiculously beautiful in this film.

I found it to be quite enjoyable, yet nothing special. It helped that I was chowing down on a Burger King at the time.

Why? It seems the blatant advertising in the movie worked on you!

This does not deserve its own thread.

Shut the strawberry float up and stop trolling.

Turns out that the movie is based upon a real incident: http://www.snopes.com/travel/airline/airport.asp

I think I'd watch it if came on channel 4 or something now though.

What didn't you like about it?

If anybody else wants to complain about this having it's own thread I'd suggest sending a PM to a mod, otherwise just don't post in it and leave us to discuss the film.

I think since it was a long time ago, it might have been actually the situation around seeing the film. I was on a date when I saw it, and remember my girlfriend falling asleep during it and me really wanting to see something exciting... maybe with guns.

The situation wasn't great and I found it so boring, but I'd like to see it again on the TV... I reckon it might not be as bad as I thought before. I think it probably requires a certain mood.

:D

Yeah it's certainly not a film designed to pump the adrenaline. I'd recommend giving it another chance!

If this doesn't deserve a thread then it'll just die a death and nobody will post in it. Bumping it up to complain just gives it more attention, so if you want it to die then the quickest way to do that is to just ignore it.

No need to give the guy a hard time just because he got kicked out of somewhere else. :)

Seen it, good film - but is that Uhura from Star Trek?

Pretty cool. Except she was gooseberry fool in Star Trek, although that was a script problem.
