It can't be any worse than the shite fest that was the 12th season.

I started re-watching Season 1 last night and it seems to suffer from Family Guy/Simpsons first season syndrome. The difference between now and then is staggering.

Another huge fan of South Park here, wasn't even aware the new series was starting so soon though!

Couldn't even tell you what channel this is on over here. Last time I looked it was on SkyOne.

The seasons in this decade>original seasons in 90's. Paramount Comedy and MTV both show South Park.

Not totally looking forward to the new series. I'm a huge fan, but prefer the older stuff. The last few series imo have been pretty average. Good episodes, followed by awful episodes (that "herro prease" episode was terrible). The newer ones don't have that same ability to make me want to watch them again and again. I don't even think I bothered in the end watching the last episode...the vampire/goth one. I had pretty much given up by then.

Well seeing as it started in 1997, that isn't really a fair comparison

I can't watch the first few seasons now. I think from season 5 the show has gone from strength to strength. I have actually cried with laughter at a number of episodes

I hear dat. Scott Tenorman Must Die is the pinnacle of the show, though.

I think anythign after season 1 is brilliant, although S1 has some good episodes I find it hard to watch now.

As funny and bizarre as the ending was, and how it showed Cartman to be actually psycotic, the first 15 mins of the episode aren't actually that great. Sure it's a funny episode, but it was just purely leading up to that last few minutes.

I'd love to catch up with South Park but I can't find subtitles on stream websites :x Going to torrent & get subtitles files (I'd need to google for that again). Actually, can .avi files be subtitled?

From the fifth series when they stopped killing Kenny every episode the show just got better and better.

The film was perfect. I enjoy watching it on DVD every so often. Its just brilliant as a comedy and as a musical.

Yes afaik, but it usually takes a few weeks for the sub files to appear on the interwebs.

Gone downhill from the end of season 10 in my opinion but I still enjoy a bit of South Park so I'll be watching.

Paramount Comedy are advertising new episodes starting this friday. Which must be the same as the series in America, as 12 has already been shown. Surely a better option to wait a day than to torrent?

I'm fairly sure Good Times With Weapons is still my favourite. That is its name, isn't it? I love the show but I'm no expert, I've probably only seen about three quarters of the episodes. Might watch some now, actually.

I'm not certain, but I don't think they've shown the second half of Season 12 yet, so it will probably be that.

The Pandemic episodes in Season 12 were good, as was the one about Cartman fighting Wendy.

And the 'Scott Malkinson' bit in the High School Musical episode.

My love for South Park knows no bounds.

You didn't find the idea of Cartman glueing pubes to his face to make him appear older hilarious? What's wrong, blown a funny fuse?

Just checked the paramount website, seems South Park season 13 is on this friday. They are showing 2x episodes, don't they only show one a week in the states? wouldn't that then put us ahead?
