S13E02 - Who is The Coon?

Much better than last week. TDK/Watchmen references abound. I've not watched either movie, so those that have may like it even more.

8/10

Finished Season 3-5, onto Season 6.

It's getting better so far, I loved 509 - Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants episode so far, I laughed out like mad when Cartman & Osama Bin Laden did that cartoon gigs  Probably my favourite of Season 5.

And I also liked 513 - Kenny Dies. I only watched second half of this before... and jesus. Finally I've seen all of it, and...it's....depressing. I like it, but man, it's depresses me. What makes it worse is that Kenny's my favourite character and it got to me  yeah I know he's alive again in later seasons

Oh, and 501 - Scott Tenorman Must Die....really shows dark side of Cartman

I think 5-8 was the strongest overall run

I didn't find either the Coon or Wendy beating up Cartman episodes particularly funny. Parts of the Wendy ep were funny, but the whole situation was too drawn out and lacking in laughs (probably because there have been funnier fights involving Cartman and I'm now sick of seeing Cartman gets his comeuppance episodes).

Nah, both drew out way too long, and had too many scenes last way too long, I am not a fan of either episode, although Kudos goes to the use of a disturbed song!

I still get the tiniest chuckle whenever I think of The Coon, especially the final line of the episode. *Adopts throaty-killing voice*

Every town needs a hero, every town needs........ a Coon.

And it was great to see Professor Chaos and General Disarray again.

I'm now onto Season 7 of South Park, although I'm taking wee break from it as I want to spend bit more time with games (and finish Alone In The Dark).

From this point all episodes should be new for me, apart from one that's in future seasons. It was good to re-watch most of the episodes, though, since memories are flooding back!

Wait until you see Good Times with Weapons (ep one, series eight I think), it's totally amaze.

I'm pretty sure it's the episode which got me back into SP after I *stupidly* gave up on the show upon seeing the opening credits to the third series. :fp:

S12E03 - Margaritaville

Randy steps forward with a solution to fix the desperate financial state everyone finds themselves in. The town gets behind him and everyone starts to live a life that no longer depends on any economy at all. Meanwhile an unlikely savior makes the ultimate sacrifice to solve everyone’s problems.

I'm really confused about the eps that paramount are showing on fridays. They appear to be showing a season 13 episode followed by an ep from part 2 of season 12 which i don't think they have shown yet. Is that right? also did Paramount actually show the Jonas brothers episode (the ring) because i'm sure i haven't seen it, yet they showed the coon one last week.

DEY TOOK OUR JERBS!

It's telling that a reference to a past season is the best bit of the newest episode. Although having said that, it was a pretty decent episode. Best one for absolutely ages.

Thought the new episode was a good laugh! The jesus references were a highlight for me.
