Now I've rinsed Assassin's Creed 2, I've got this on the way. I hope it lives up to the thread title!

I think most people were put off by the average reviews across the board. I know I was.

I'd never heard of this game.

The Edge review was a very amusing read.

You know the missions where you have to blow up all the points in a base? Normally I just run in guns blazing but the last one I did, I stole a Nazi uniform and was sneaking my way throughout the base blowing up all their generators and rockets. I'd just set up a couple of remote bombs on a cluster of generators when I got trapped in a spot by a sniper and a foot soldier. There was nothing I could do to escape and they saw through my disguise. So BOOM! I set off the bombs and with everything exploding around me I ran off tommy gun in hand fighting back the Krauts!

It was an amazing moment and the only thing that could have made it better was if I'd had to jump off a cliff and board a falling plane. Planting those bombs was just like Goldeneye.

And finished.

Ending felt very rushed but the rest of the game was amaze. Also liked how they gave the player the option at the end, although it would have had more of an impact if we had interacted with him more during the game & he had also killed Veronique in a similar way to Jules.

Shame there won't be any more.

Got this game the other day. Starting the freeplay events and I am really enjoying it :)

Shame the climbing is a bit gooseberry fool.

Completed it yesterday, the ending did suddenly come out of nowhere

Loved the overall experiance and surprised at how quickly doing all the freeplay events went too - Only 55gs left to get, but seems like I'll have to restart to get some of them

This looks like a lot of fun, but I'm wondering should I buy it for PC or Xbox360? I've heard some people have had issues with the PC port. I've got a nvidia GTX260 and 6GB of RAM so I should have enough clout to run it with decent graphics.

Don't go in to HMV expecting the deal to be there in the shop. It's 'on sale' for £30 there.
