No, not even you are. ADMIT IT!

*cough*

I'm excited by it, the concept sounds fantastic

I didn't even know we had a thread for it. I was about to create one but thought I'd search first.

Really like the idea of this. Hopefully it'll be something special.

Thanks Suzz. I like that.

I think this is shaping up really nicely, actually. Could surprise a few people. It looks fabulous too.

Yes. It's an open world game that has an interesting setting, looks stylish and you can shoot nazis.

I just can't see myself finding the time to play it before Christmas.

Which version did you play? My worry is that the PS3 version will suffer from the usual multi format issues.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

360. I saw the PC version too, I'm not entirely sure if there were PS3 units up and running at the event. 360 was definitely the focus though. They often are, to be honest.

IGN AU Review

Image

It’s an odd little saucisson, this one. Sean is distinctly unlikeable for the first two or three hours of gameplay, but gradually grows on you. The story is reasonable, although hampered by some laughable dialogue – which we hope was deliberate, and steaming ‘round the city and surrounding countryside giving the Nazis what for is entertaining enough that you almost don’t need a story.

While it’s a little rough around the edges we enjoyed this game more than we thought we would. It’s far from perfect, but it’s great to see Pandemic going out with a bang.

A brief "first impressions" of the PS3 version from TheSixthAxis:

It all sounds fairly positive. I'll be looking to pick up a cheap copy in the New Year.

I'm just keen to play a game where the lead character calls a Nazi 'knobjockey'.

Might buy it when its cheaper, but for me it doesn't look quality enough to justify spending £40 on it.

 My mum has already done all Christmas shopping (since a couple of weeks ago), it'd be very cheeky to ask for anything more.

getting this for xmas, still...
seen a bit of it on last weeks Playr and the voice acting is terrible.

Here's at least one reason to buy your copy of The Saboteur new: All fresh copies of the game will ship with a code to download DLC, called "The Midnight Show," for free. The pack contains new Parisian hiding spots, a new minigame and, for better or for worse, the option to unlock nudity in the game.

If you buy the game sans code, you'll also be able to pick up the DLC for $4.99 / 400. But at that point, whether you'll admit it or not, you're basically paying to see digi-boobies ... and if you do that, we're just not sure we can be friends with you any more.

Crap forgot this was out tomorrow :fp:

Ment to put my pre-order in but forgot, so i'll have to wait to Saturday to play now. Despite al the non-posittives towards this and some of the rather yawnful reviews, I'm still hyped by it oddly enough.
