SuperFinal wrote:Just played the first hour or so. Much like Mercs 2, it's a bit rough round the edges but perfectly playable. It's a shame that the gunplay feels really weak, but I'm enjoying the story missions so far. Plus some of the voice work is hilarious.

Oh yeah - Achievement Unlocked: Pint and a Shag

Apart from the Sniper rifle, i'm avoiding using guns. I know that's going to fail in the end but "sneaky punchy kicky" works fine so far 8-)

Anybody still playing this? I should be getting this for Christmas and looking forward to a bit of Nazi bashing (and taking a break from MW2), but the lack of chat about it is making me a little concerned?! :?

I was thinking of picking it up in the sales depending on price. However, I'll be getting it on PS3.

It's pretty good if you can overlook the bugs, visual issues and general state of unpolish. Blowing stuff up is always fun though!

Still playing it myself. Taking my time though with the side missions and events, so not sure how far along into the main story I am. Somewhere in Act II, I think; just re-covered the race-car from a Nazi chateau so Sean can compete in a race organized by the Nazis.

I must admit though, there are possibly too many events to complete if you want the achievements. I completed all 333 in Paris Area 1, but not sure if I'll do that for each area.

Went on a rampage in a tank yesterday, raising the alert to level 5, but in the end found no hiding spot to esape (at least not in the country side). Was fun though while it lasted.

I bought this today for myself... without really knowing much about it at all.

Looking forward to sticking it in (lol!) after dinner.

Thanks Rinks! I've been waiting to get this and £23 is a price I'm delighted about! Can't wait to play it. :D

Just got my copy. I'll probably save it for New Year's Day and just play it all day. There are things to unlock right, like hidden items to collect? I'm really in the mood for that kind of game and this looks perfect.

There are collectables in a way - it's more along the lines of finding something and BLOWING IT THE strawberry float UP. There's about 1000 of them to do as well.

I spent 4 hours today doing freestyle missions and ionly dented 2% worth of them

Got gold on all perks bar driving (haven't got to the point where the driving side quests open) and the car collectining one (might cheat and use the gold perk on that as level 2 was so annoying)

Love it, I'm ignore the fualts quite easily tbh as there's so much more to love about it

Bought this on Boxing Day. It's great. It's a cross between GTA and Assassins Creed but in Nazi occupied France (a setting that I love...) and there's so much to do. I recommend to anyone.

All freestyle done in paris 1, 2 & Le harve. Only a couple left in the countrysdie(around 10 I think). Paris 3seems like a challenge.

Only the gold perks left on the Driving one (which I beleive won't open till near the end)and Explosives (struggiling to get 10 enemies in 10 seconds, max I've gotten is 8 in 10 secs)

I really hope for a sequal, I like Sean as a character and he's kept me entertained a lot and has some brill script; in fact I've enjoyed and chuckled along to a lot of the script so far. Iron out the many bugs and I'll be up for it

It's going to take an effing age to "collect" all the white dots on the map. Really enjoying this game though. It's not without flaws but it's certainly good fun.

The silent pistol is without a doubt the best gun in the game. Feel like such a badass busting into a nazi base with it. Not played this in a while now though. :shifty:

It saddens me that this thread only has 4 pages. :(

Terror Rifle for me, with the Panzershrek as back up works for me :D

That combination is great for freestyle events too - saves a lot of time having to climb every roof top when you can just blow em up from the street

Agreed, I was a bit befuzzled as the game had only just been released and it was off of the first page for ages. Shame.
