This is rather good. One of the most colourful games I have played recently. The fighting and Hitman esque parts are pretty fun.

It's been brilliant so far; It's very cheesy in a lot that it does (some of the voice acting and dialogue especially), but it does them well and enjoyable. It's no masterpiece but it doesn#'t sem to want to be. It feels very much like a spiritual sequal to Mafia (or with the Mafia sequal on the way, maybe Mafia 1.5)

People who don't get this are knobjockeys

Yeah I noticed the Mafia similarities too. Some of the female characters, Veronique and the blonde british woman are smoking hot, and in terms of story I'm really interested in seeing how things develop with them both. Also Sean is quite good, I like him.

Holy crap this is amazing, everyone should get it. Once you get to grips with the controls it works so well.

I had to assassinate a General who was camping out in an alleway. Most games would send you directly into it, using the crates as cover. But climbing adds so many tactical options. Climbing for a better view of the target, I had to jump over the alley to the next building to get a good shot with the rifle. It was very satisfying taking him down and fleeing over the rooftops which are generally safe.

Also causing a GTA style rampage in a safehouse area, I took on lots of Germans and took down several tanks with a 3 star rating before fleeing through a tunnel and over a river in a car and having an epic chase through fields Great Escape style.

Looks good but I think I'll wait for the inevitable price collapse (poor student).

It really is a game that gets beter as it goes along. Loving the perk system and the black and white affect into colour idea if brilliant

I've been playing for about 7 hours and haven't gone past act 1 due to pissing around with the freestyle missions; some of them are brilliant with the over importance of how to do them - Run in and kill everyone then blow up target, or plan an attack; wait and watch the troops layout and sneak in and do it stealthy.

I really think too many people will overlook this because of scores and such, which is a shame becuase at it's heart it's a fantastic game with a lot in it and willing to give if you put the time in (like one side mission which involved takin out a court in which you can find find two AA guns, which you can control make killing nazis so over the top, blowing up the zepps and watching them fall to the ground in fire is epic)

Loving it so far, it's like the bastard child of Assassins Creed and Mercenaries 2 and very good for it.

Been spending most of my time just running round looking for Nazi targets to blow up and having mad car chases.

Can't wait to get the bazooka, the nazi airship better be destructable

AWESOME :)

Saw a clip of one in flames but looked like it could've been a cut-scene, if that's in game then that's brilliant :)

Never ever watch a GT review before playing a game. They almost always reveal every plot twist. banana splits.

This, if you want to buy a game and still have it at all surprise you, never watch a GT review :fp:

Just played the first hour or so. Much like Mercs 2, it's a bit rough round the edges but perfectly playable. It's a shame that the gunplay feels really weak, but I'm enjoying the story missions so far. Plus some of the voice work is hilarious.

Oh yeah - Achievement Unlocked: Pint and a Shag
