I think my ipod Nano is strawberry floated. :(

It was in the middle of a Regina Spektor song this afternoon when this happened.

The support page isn't any help. When I reset it, that screen comes back immediately, not giving me enough time to put it into disk mode by holding centre & play for 5 seconds, like they say. Anyone have this screen appear for them?

Will I have to send it back?

Still gonna keep my 80GB classic though.

I have the 80GB classic but I'm very tempted to pick up the new nano for use when I'm out & about. My 1st gen nano is well past it.

I'm tempted by the new Nano, I'm sending back my Creative Zen today after it broke within 6 months. How is the video play back on the Nano, in the past, I found anything I put on there got horribly out of sync.

Think i'll get the Green Nano.

EDIT: Damn us Europeans get ripped off, iPod touch is only £115 on the Apple US store and the nano is just £75. Would there be any problems using an American one?

Wow. The iPhone 2.1 is great. This should have been 1.0 but...

1 bar of 3G now is 5 bar.
iPhone's 3G quicker than my 10mb BB.
Battery lasts 2 days instead of one.
Everything is smoother.
Installs take 1/2 the time.

Perfect update. Now to improve the Camera, add Video, add flash, add Cut and Paste and maybe enter pics via SMS and they it CANT be improved.

Good news, I think i'll get the touch then seeing as it's the same price as a UK 8GB Nano.

Video support is mostly pointless for the 18-40 market apple preach to (me included) and flash sites just take too long to load but cut and paste would be nice. An improved camera is an idea, but then all phones are pretty sh*t vs the nearest canon/Nikon/cybershot anyway. And does anyone actually use MMS? Really? Reeeeally?

Personally id like to see a 'characters left' indicator on sms. Im sick of sending 2 text messages to people!

MMS, that's sending pictures via text right? I do that all the time.

Surprised there's no 'characters left' indicator for the sms, I thought that was a standard. Nice way of tricking you into paying for two messages rather than one.

I had a little play with the new Ipod Touch at an apple store yesterday. I've never had an upclose look or play with one before, but I was impressed. It feels lovely, and although it's insanely thin, it feels solid. I was a bit annoyed there wasn't any games to try out though. I'll probably get one. Might import it after seeing that it's a lot cheaper than to get it here.

I'm refusing to use my iPhone. I hated it. I got it for free, so I'm just passing it on to someone else. I've gone back to my Motorola L6 8-) .

The 2nd Gen iPod Touch seems tempting, people were bitching on macrumors forums that a 64GB version hadn't come out yet.

BTW This is my 100th post on GRcade

Yeah I'm getting more and more tempted by the touch. The 32gb version in America is the same price as our 16gb, so I might get a mate to bring one over next week. 32gb is more than enough space. I have about 70gb of music on my PC, but I don't listen to even half of it.

I'm so bad at deciding though. I was set on getting the touch, but then started checking out the Zune which I think looks really good too. Agh, I'm so indecisive! A week to decide.

Just updated to 2.1. Bloody annoying that the update didn't arrive a day earlier. I've just been away for a week, using the phone heavily. It would have been nice not to have to charge the phone quite so often.
